I am studying Neuroscience at Kings College. I have over 3+ years of tutoring experience. I started of by teaching relatives and family friends children and now want to expand my network in my teaching. I have been tutoring for the past 2 years, but also tutored for a year at KUMON. I am confident and very relatable to children. I got 3 A’s in A-Level doing Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I received four 8s and five 9s in GCSE. I have lots of resources and revision techniques to provide to help the students be comfortable with the subject. I am quite flexible with my time so if my availability shown doesn’t work for you let me know and we can arrange something. The subjects I tutor is maths, Biology and chemistry for KS3 and GCSE. I also teach science and maths for Primary school students. I use Zoom or Skype to do my lessons mostly . I explain and teach using an online whiteboard and exam questions. I provide worksheets and past papers to help students to make sure they understand and is confident in the work and topic. Students can contact me throughout the week via email or messages if they are unsure with the work I have sent or any questions they have from school they have learnt.
I Have Worked in Kumon for 2 years, tutoring children struggling with a topic by simplifying the concept and making it understandable. I have Supported Classroom activities, tutoring and marking work and helped instructors with test administration, curriculum development and grading. I have also previously have done small group tutoring based on the year group curriculum and also individual lesson. |
