Hi, I'm Heather! I'm a 23 years old post-graduate with a passion for science. I have just completed a bachelors degree in Biochemistry at the University of Nottingham specifically focusing on Cancer research which has allowed me to combine my interests of Biology and Chemistry, both of which I loved in school. My aim is to extend my knowledge and enthusiasm for these subjects to other students so they can achieve their full potential. My peers would describe me as having a kind and approachable nature which I believe is essential for providing a comfortable learning environment where there is no such thing as a stupid question!
Having experienced tons of exams myself I understand first hand how stressful the current education system can be however I promise to be positive, enthusiastic and build students confidence.

I have a passion to teach young children and adults. I like to help others with my knowledge and skills in the above mentioned subjects. I believe that every student is different from the other and therefore I design lesson plans for students according to their needs and le as learning levels.

My tutoring philosophy is distinguished by a steadfast commitment to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Aside from academics, I am an avid reader, keen Badminton player and love to travel! I love to share experiences with students, as it creates a bond with them, and gives them space to be able to feel relaxed, and wanting to contribute themselves during lessons too. This to me, is pivotal in any learning process.
