I have over 8 years of international classroom teaching experience and I am accredited in Scotland and British Columbia, Canada. During my time teaching in The United Arab Emirates I was presented with an Excellence for Education Award. This was in recognition of my outstanding achievement and excellent educational performance in the Emirate Schools Council. Seeing my students succeed and grow into confident English speakers is one of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching career.

I have been a teacher since 2008 when I gained my PGCE, specialising in Early Years (5-11). I then went on to get my Masters in Education. For the last twelve years I have taught over a range of year groups and enjoy the challenge that teaching brings. I have had experience of tutoring Year 5 and 6 children with good results.
