I have taught children of all ages and stages in primary and have a vast range of solutions and strategies to help your child access learning. My specialism is Literacy/English and additional support needs. The skills I have acquired and used successfully to support all learners irrespective of age/stage/ability proving results and progress in all areas of the curriculum. I also have sound knowledge in teaching and learning in all areas of numeracy with 5+ years experience in teaching children with dyslexia and english as an additional language( children who are bilingual or speak English as a second language) I teach at a pace that suits the learner and also ensure challenge.
My teaching methods include using a variety of digital learning with direct teaching. My aim is to encourage, reassure and create confident independant learners with skills that are necessary for further education. |
