I studied Classics at UCL achieving First Class Honours in my BA before going on to complete my Master's in MA Reception of the Classical World. I have been teaching A Level Classical Civilisation for nearly 15 years and have been Head of Department for 10 years at my school in London. As well as being a subject expert I also have experience as an Examiner for the Greek Art and Democracy and the Athenians units. My work as an examiner has given me even more insight and expertise in relation to the A Level specification. I am a highly passionate teacher of Classics with a particular interest in the enduring influence of the Classical world. I enjoy communicating this passion to my students. I use a variety of activities and strategies to achieve student engagement and provide regular and detailed feedback so as to ensure student progress. |
