I am a Civil Engineering graduate from City, University of London and also achieved an A* in A level Mathematics. I offer tutoring services for Mathematics to A-Level, GCSE and KS3 level students. My experience in teaching students at various academic levels has equipped me with the necessary skills to work with students from any background. I have a very specific method of teaching which helped me in my own grades through my A-Levels and degree. The tutor I had for my A-Levels instilled this way of learning that allowed me to improve my grade in Maths from a B grade to an A*. My approach to teaching entails a strong emphasis on practice. After reviewing the contents of each topic, I work with the student on sample questions before encouraging them to complete all available questions on the subject. By providing ample practice opportunities, I aim to help students develop a comprehensive understanding of the topic, build their problem-solving skills, and boost their confidence. If you complete all the questions available there isn't many that can catch you off guard in the real exam. I generally suggest lessons to be for 90mins as it allows for thorough work but also not too tiring. I have tutored many students in the past while studying at university and now as a graduate I am confident in tutoring most levels of Mathematics. |
