My name is Johanna Bates, I am currently studying an Arts and Humanities specialising in Philosophy and Art History through The Open University. I have always been very passionate about my studies, however, the university environment was never for me because I do suffer from anxiety, this is why I chose to complete a self-taught degree. Experiencing this has taught me that not every traditional method of education works for everyone, therefore I am happy to adapt to whatever is most suitable for the stuent.

During my A-levels I got some experience of tutoring, and it was something that I really enjoyed and now it seems fitting while complete my degree that I return to it.
