Hello! I am in my final year of a Sociology with Criminology degree and have recently submitted all of my work. I am currently predicted to graduate with either a high 2:1 or a First Class Honours. I offer tutoring for GCSE and A Level Sociology students who are looking for extra support, whether that means help with understanding theory, building essay skills, or preparing for exams. (For examples of some of the feedback I received on my university work, please see my gallery!) I know that learning can feel difficult or frustrating at times, especially when the content does not feel relevant or engaging. My approach is all about making Sociology interesting and easier to connect with. I take the time to understand what each student enjoys and then shape lessons around those interests. Whether you are into true crime, pop culture, current events, or social media, I will find ways to link these topics to the subject so that it feels more accessible and enjoyable. I have not worked as a tutor before, but I have plenty of experience helping classmates during my degree. I am confident in explaining complex ideas in a clear and simple way, and I am always patient and understanding. I also have ADHD, so I completely understand how some learning environments can feel overwhelming or rigid. Because of this, I offer a flexible and supportive space where students can ask questions, take their time, and build confidence at their own pace. I am fully DBS checked and committed to creating a safe, encouraging environment where students feel respected and supported. If you are looking for someone who understands different learning styles and genuinely cares about helping you succeed in Sociology, I would love to hear from you! |
