I am a friendly, enthusiastic, and diligent worker with a deep passion for English Literature. My enthusiasm for the subject drives me to prepare thoroughly for every session, ensuring that each lesson is both engaging and effective. I take pride in helping students develop their own intrinsic motivation for study and writing skills, especially those preparing for GCSEs, and I tailor my approach to suit individual learning styles. My commitment to professional development means I continually seek new ways to inspire and support my students, helping them achieve their academic goals while fostering a love for literature. I have never scored anything less than an A* in any English Literature qualification from GCSE level to A level. The typical length of a lesson is one hour and I can do multiple hours in a week with you! I believe English Literature is a wonderful subject because it fosters creativity, critical thinking, and analytical skills. I am especially enthusiastic about working with GCSE students, having ranked first in my secondary school cohort in the past. My experience enables me to guide students toward success, making the research and writing process both enjoyable and rewarding. I find that interactive discussions are most effective in helping students engage deeply with literary texts.
