As the Head of English at my current school, I have been a fully qualified teacher for 8 years, successfully carrying multiple year groups through the new 9-1 English GCSE. I have a comprehensive knowledge of the Literature texts, Macbeth, A Christmas Carol and An Inspector Calls, while also having a secure knowledge of the Power and Conflict Poetry Anthology. I also have extensive knowledge of the English Language qualification, and have orchestrated and run intervention on this particular aspect of the English GCSE for many years now. I have attended AQA literature and Language seminars and conferences where I have gained invaluable insight into the examiners reports and feedback from previous exams; enabling me to provide consistently up-to-date advice and knowledge for the students that I teach. I am available to tutor during the week from 5pm onwards (Tuesday - Friday). |
