I have over 8 years experience in teaching the primary age range in the state education sector.
I am extremely knowledgeable in the National curriculum, planning, delivering and assessing your child's ability. I will take an initial assessment to see where they are in their learning - their strengths and areas they need to develop and create a personalised program for them to progress at that right speed for them as an individual.
I have used many different programs in my career such as Mastery maths, White Rose maths, FFT phonics and Little Wandle as well as creating my own activities
I enjoy making lessons creative and with real life contexts so that the children can see the purpose for their learning ready for when they enter the adult world. I like to keep the lessons at a good pace to maximise their concentration and focus. A good light hearted sense of humor with positive encouragement is the approach I find works best for when I tutor to provide the child with self-esteem and confidence in themselves.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, my name is Kully and it's very nice to meet you. Thank you for taking this time out to read my profile!
For the last 10 years, I have been working as a primary school teacher at an outstanding school.
I have over 15 years experience and have worked within many schools, two of which were long-term.
Over the years, my teaching career has allowed me to experience many different and difficult situations. These in turn have made me a more confident, organised, resourceful and experienced (in many years groups) teacher.
My current role is a Year 2 class teacher, however I have taught children from Nursery up to Year 6 as a cover teacher too.
I took part in the Government led school tutoring program, where I tutored 3 children from Year 2 in Writing. This has deepened my experience further, especially when assisting children to achieve the best they can.
I have carried out and planned for many 1:1 or group interventions in Maths and English to assist with our school's Covid catch-up program.
I want to build a good rapport with my pupils, a relationship that is fun, respectful and honest.
It's all about adapting the learning to the pupil and making them feel that they are in control of their learning too. Having a good sense of humour always helps too!
Please leave a message if you would like to discuss your child's needs.
Looking forward to meeting you.

As a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience across all age groups, I am dedicated to helping children excel in their education. My expertise spans a range of subjects, including reading, writing, handwriting, maths, and science, making me well-equipped to provide comprehensive support tailored to each child's unique needs.
In reading, I focus on phonics, fluency, and comprehension, ensuring that children not only learn to read but also develop a love for reading that will serve them throughout their lives.
My writing and handwriting sessions emphasise clarity, creativity, and proper technique, helping children to express themselves effectively and confidently.
Maths can often be a challenging subject for many students, but with my support, children can build a strong foundation and develop problem-solving skills that will benefit them in all areas of learning.
My science lessons aim to spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking through engaging and interactive experiments and discussions.
I have extensive experience supporting children with their Year 6 SATs preparation, ensuring they feel confident and ready to perform their best. My approach includes personalised revision plans, practice tests, and targeted support to address any areas of difficulty.
My teaching approach is rooted in child-centred pedagogy, which means I tailor my methods to fit each child's learning style and pace. I believe in fostering a positive and supportive environment where children feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and ultimately grow and succeed.
I prefer conducting face-to-face sessions on a one-to-one basis to ensure personalised and direct support. However, I am also willing to work online if needed, providing flexible options to meet your family's needs.
I am passionate about making learning enjoyable and accessible for every child. If you are looking for a dedicated tutor who can provide personalised, effective, and engaging support for your child's education, I would love to help.

Hello. I am a USA citizen living in Scotland. I am a registered primary school teacher in Puerto Rico, Massachusetts and Scotland (P1-P6). I am fully bilingual and I am offering online courses/tutoring via Zoom. I can teach Spanish and English, and help the little ones with school works, or catching up where they are falling behind. I am also an artist with a beautiful list of Art Therapy certificates which I can teach to all ages. Art therapy is a way to use our creative side as a tool to express that which we may find hard to talk about. It is great for channeling our emotions, our traumas, our fears, our pain, and help us heal.

After graduating from Newcastle University with a First-Class Degree in Journalism and Culture, I began a career in education through Teach First. I have since worked in a variety of different schools where I have shared my passion for learning with the many pupils that I have taught.
I am a fully qualified teacher with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and extensive experience in primary settings including as Head of Maths. I have a meticulous knowledge of the primary curriculum, having taught for extended periods of my career in Year 6 as well as in lower KS2 and KS1. Most recently, I have worked as a specialist Year 6 SATs tutor educating small groups and individuals to help them to achieve accelerated progress towards their academic goals and aspirations. During this role, I have worked with a range of children including those with SEN.
I believe that there is no one set approach to improving academic standards and that instead this should be tailored towards the needs of the pupil on an individual basis. For example, this could involve providing challenging and thought-provoking material or rebuilding a pupil's understanding and confidence from the ground up. At the heart of my philosophy, I believe that tutors should build meaningful relationships with their pupils and encourage a love of learning.

I have been teaching since 2006 as a Primary School Teacher and have been very fortunate and lucky to have worked at a range of schools.
I have taught in outstanding schools, that have been satisfactory or required improvement and faith schools. I have taught as a classroom teacher in KS1 and KS2. I have experience of both phonics assessment and SATS experience. The bulk of my career has been teaching in London schools and more recently I have taught in schools in Leicestershire, Derby and Nottingham. In all schools I have worked in, my lessons have been judged ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’.
It has been a valuable teaching experience which has certainly shaped my professional outlook and provided me with a rich insight into what you can achieve with children. This has allowed me to to develop into a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. I am able to plan, assess, reflect and adapt my teaching to ensure that all children have a challenging and enjoyable experience and make excellent progress.
Lesson observations of my teaching have highlight how children are enthusiastic, engaged, eager to learn and are confident when attempting tasks. Tasks are differentiated for all abilities and especially the higher ability who need to be stretched continually. I encourage children to become independent by trying their best, keep trying and never give up. I have found children to have become resilient and not afraid of tackling new concepts or new challenges.
I can also provide evidence of children's work to show progression and the impact of my teaching.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
