I am an extremely experienced teacher/tutor and examiner of A level Psychology and Sociology. I have experience of tutoring for AQA, OCR, Edexcel and Cambridge International for Psychology and AQA for Sociology.

In my years of teaching and tutoring at A level, I have built up a wealth of resources that are used and shared with my tutees in helping them consistently achieve A* and A grades.
My approach to tutoring is to be flexible and approachable so that students feel free to ask any questions that they wish.
My examining experience is second to none, having been Chief Examiner for A level Psychology and senior positions for A level Sociology. I am currently a senior examiner for A level Psychology.
My tutoring is always totally exam focused, aided by my examining experience which gives me invaluable insight into how the exams are marked and what the exam boards are looking for.
My knowledge of Psychology and Sociology is very strong as I have published textbooks related to the A level Psychology specifications.
I have been a science teacher for the past 6/7 years in Staffordshire. Last year my classes achieved an average of two grades above their GCSE target grades. The school I am currently teaching at in Staffordshire is ranked 4th in the county in terms of progress 8.
I am a well qualified graduate achieving an upper second class degree in biology at the university of Liverpool. I have been tutoring both biology and chemistry for the past two years on tutorhunt. During this time, I have helped multiple students achieve excellent grades in science.

I am friendly, approachable and enjoy making learning meaningful for pupils. My lessons begin with starting activities to recap the previous learning, identify any misconceptions. Moving onto the main part of the lesson I plan activities promoting fluency in the skill then application to a real-life situation or worded exam-style question. Games and quizzes can be fun and useful in testing rapid recall.
I have been teaching for fifteen years and have taught learners of all abilities, backgrounds and socio-economic circumstances, planning for progression and offering timely feedback. I endeavour to make learning as enjoyable as possible and do my utmost to "make learning stick". I am compassionate and go the extra mile for learners.

I am currently a Medical student at Keele and a graduate from the University of Salford, achieving a 1st in my degree in Human Biology and Infectious Disease. Achieving the highest mark within my university. I was responsible for a programme known as GEMMS which is for supporting students in their medicine/dentistry applications, assisting them in interview technique and for the entrance exams.

Seeing the improvement and progress a child can make in a short amount of time is always the best feeling and I strive to help you achieve your goals and beyond. Sometimes having that 1 to 1 session can make all the difference in clearing up any worries about a topic.
I begin my classes by asking the student what they want to learn or discuss during the session. If they have a doubt in a concept, I will ask them to explain the same concept to me in their own words and correct them wherever necessary. I will provide some good methods to study or approach that topic. I will conclude the lesson by asking them if there is anything they would like to discuss in our next session so that I could prepare some questions in advance. I will also regularly be assessing your improvement through the use of practice papers to get an idea of where the student is at and how they can further improve. Lucie Talbot is a trained dancer, choreographer, teacher, and artist well known throughout the UK, Whilst directing her 12-year strong hip hop academy, Training dancers who, have become accomplished artists themselves. Lucie first started her career as a Jazz dancer after training in 1998, at the Prestigious Italia Conti Performing Arts College in London. Whilst at her classic studies Lucie Trained at others studios across London for Street Dance Styles. After her extensive training in classic styles Lucie went on to train worldwide with the masters of Street Dance gaining knowledge and skills in the many styles of the Street Dance technique. Becoming a very versatile dancer and teacher and Choreographer.
At Present Lucie is the Resident Street Dance Styles Teacher at the Birmingham Hippodrome and danceXchange, Jill Clews, And also has residencies in other colleges across the midlands. as well as running her own school and Youth company.
