I am currently a Medical student at Keele and a graduate from the University of Salford, achieving a 1st in my degree in Human Biology and Infectious Disease. Achieving the highest mark within my university. I was responsible for a programme known as GEMMS which is for supporting students in their medicine/dentistry applications, assisting them in interview technique and for the entrance exams.
I have mentored and tutored for 5+ years, helping students to achieve grade 9 in maths. I currently tutor Mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry for A-levels and below.
I am a fun person who particular loves his sports. Seeing the improvement and progress a child can make in a short amount of time is always the best feeling and I strive to help you achieve your goals and beyond. Sometimes having that 1 to 1 session can make all the difference in clearing up any worries about a topic.
I begin my classes by asking the student what they want to learn or discuss during the session. If they have a doubt in a concept, I will ask them to explain the same concept to me in their own words and correct them wherever necessary. I will provide some good methods to study or approach that topic. I will conclude the lesson by asking them if there is anything they would like to discuss in our next session so that I could prepare some questions in advance. I will also regularly be assessing your improvement through the use of practice papers to get an idea of where the student is at and how they can further improve. I strive to get the best out of my students.
I have been a science teacher for the past 6/7 years in Staffordshire. Last year my classes achieved an average of two grades above their GCSE target grades. The school I am currently teaching at in Staffordshire is ranked 4th in the county in terms of progress 8.

Hi everyone, my name is Maddie and I am in my first year of medical school at Aston University! I am passionate about passing on my knowledge about science as it is my passion. I studied Physics, Biology and Chemistry a-level AQA exam board. I am looking to tutor GCSE students in these three subjects. I acquired high grades in these subjects at GCSE as well as A-level. I’m Shreya G., a second year medical student in the UK. I enjoy learning just as much as teaching, and its a great learning opportunity for us both. Considering my medical background, I find teaching science and maths favourable. I also have a good understanding of the recent exam patterns and curriculum, as I have recently done it too.
