My goal is to always ensure that my students are enjoying their lessons and what they are learning. Achieving this ensures that my students can gain confidence and independence, and thus they are able to learn independently. I also teach my students organisational and study skills that can help them achieve improved results and that can help them in their future educational journeys. I am experienced in teaching students of various levels and in various numbers. I have had experience teaching classes with 10+ students as well as teaching individual students in one-to-one sessions via online platforms or in-person. Through my patience and ability to break complicated problems into small understandable information, I can provide my students with easy solutions to the problems they are facing and struggling with. I also believe in the "practice makes perfect" approach and therefore I tend to challenge my students to ensure that they get "the best" results instead of only "good" results. As a result, I always try to give my students something to work on before meeting them again. Finally, through my experience, I have been blessed by attaining considerable love and respect from my students and I have been proud of seeing plenty of improved results and a change in the mentalities of my students.

I'm a professional bassist who plays a variety of live gigs, including functions and originals. I have also worked with an eclectic mix of artists in a recording setting. I have 5+ years of teaching experience and a 1st Class Honours Bachelors of Music in Popular Music. I like to make teaching fun and engaging by utilising specific songs to teach certain techniques or necessary basics such as scales. I find that this leads to my students understanding how to use the techniques easier due to having a musical context of where they do and don't work in a genre or individual piece of music. I can help students work towards grades with any examination board though I have more experience with the rockschool grades.

Hello and welcome! My name is Nico L., I'm thrilled to be your English/Italian tutor for our online sessions. Whether you're here to master English for business, travel, academics, or just the sheer joy of learning a new language, you've come to the right place.
A little about myself - I have a passion for languages that stems from my own experiences as a language learner. I understand the challenges and the excitement that come with delving into a new language. Having studied [English/Italian] extensively myself, I know first-hand the strategies and techniques that can make your learning journey not only effective but also enjoyable.
So, let's embark on this language-learning adventure together! I can't wait to get to know you and help you achieve your linguistic goals. Shall we dive in?

Personal Description:
I’m a practicing sound artist with a Masters from the Royal College of Art in Sound Design. Sound has always been my passion, incorporating creatively across many types of artistic practice. I studied Fine Art at Brighton achieving a First Class Honours. My thesis at the Royal College of Art was about percussion in social contexts, which was awarded a distinction and published. I am an award wining sound artist (University of Nagoya Prize, 2016) who has exhibited in many prestigious institutions (IRCAM Forum, Paris 2020 & 2021, London Design Biennale 2021). My work communicates science to audiences using sound, particularly young adults and children. Because of this I am often thinking about fun and interesting ways that children and young adults can learn. I continue to work now on sound design, recording and working on personal projects using sound as a medium for enquiry into science and philosophy.
Tutoring Approach:
As a people person I compliment everyone’s innate curiosity for sound. I easily adapt teaching to fit the needs and personality of each student. I try to keep a balance between teaching essential skills whilst also encouraging the student to problem solve creatively and intuitively allowing for efficiency whilst also keeping lessons fun.

Hi! I'm a second year student currently studying mathematics at the University of Sussex. I studied maths, further maths and chemistry in sixth form, at which time I helped out with many younger students. I did this by volunteering in a yr 7 maths class and in the homework club the school held once a week in which I helped many students in years 7-11

I have a total of 4 years of tutoring experience, with both tutoring agencies and in private tuition. I have taught GCSE and A level students across a variety of exam boards making sure that all the students know everything to perform well in their exams. I have solid experience teaching biology and chemistry across Key stages 3-5. Being a high achieving medical student who enjoys teaching and tutoring others, I have chosen to do so whilst studying myself. Having come from an academic background, I attribute my successful journey in receiving high grades to my ability to find ways to teach myself complex ideas. I share these tips and methods with my students by breaking down complex topics into smaller more manageable ones. I mainly use visual aids such as graphs and diagrams in addition to exam questions in order to reinforce a solid understanding of the topic.
