Class Teacher KS2 Woodthorpe Community Primary School - Sheffield September 2006 to April 2019 Class teacher throughout KS 2; even taught combined year groups www.*** , Year 3 and 4. Last 3 years covered PPA and absence throughout KS 2. Emphasis on creating a skills-based curriculum and developing writing and reading attainment. Only child in Sheffield to attain level 6 in reading spent 2 years with me, in years 4 and 5. Behaviour and classroom management particular strengths, as was helping to develop whole school approaches to reading. As union rep helped to promote good relations between teachers and management. One standout aspect was my ability to create child friendly learning objectives and success criteria regarding lesson planning. Supported staff with understanding and teaching SPAG; this was on an informal and ongoing basis. Since 2019, have taught at least 8 LAC children. Age-range 13-17.
