I have been a qualified teacher since 2009 and taught in a variety of state and private schools in Kent, London, and Surrey. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a 2:1 in Theology and Religious Studies and was awarded my MA in 2010.
I have worked as a private music (violin and piano) teacher since I was in the sixth form, and, since qualifying as a teacher , have tutored Philosophy, English Literature, and Religious Studies to a variety of students internationally (online) and in person (locally).

I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I'd like to share a brief biography of my career in the U.K. In 2002, at 19, I realized my love for music and moved to Bristol, U.K., where I lived for four years. Bristol exposed me to all sorts of music, including rock, jazz, world music, and more. I played my first shows and worked with over five different local bands, gaining valuable experience. In 2006, I moved to London to study at Tech Music Schools, known as "Drum Tech," where I completed my higher education and earned a BMUS in Popular Music Performance (Hons), licensed by West London University. After completing my degree in 2011, I worked exclusively as a performing drummer and drum teacher, giving private lessons in my own studio, Oktopus Music Services, in North West London. In the past nine years, I've had the privilege of performing, recording, and writing with some of the best musicians in the London and U.K. scene, such as Kevin Glasgow (one of Europe's best bassists), Robin Banerjee (Amy Winehouse's guitarist), Roberto Manzin (Zucchero), Felipe Martíns (Emeterians), Juan Whist (The Voice National Spanish TV), and many others. I've showcased in most of London's live music venues and with the best U.K. and European entertainment agencies, such as Scarlett Entertainment, Full Stop Entertainment, and more. After 20 years of professional experience, I've decided to focus fully on teaching drums and performing. Since leaving mainstream teaching in 2019 I have worked as a STEM tutor for a charity. I have nearly 4 years experience tutoring Mathematics and Physics to students ranging in age from 7-17. I have coached KS2 to A-level in Mathematics and Physics (including different syllabuses).
A large proportion of my students achieve high marks in their examinations, with a few gaining a 9 in GSCE Maths last year. I had one student last year who went from a 5 in their mock Mathematics GCSE, to getting an 8 as their final grade, and is now studying it at A Level! I am a 22 year old music graduate and I play gigs around London with various artists, including my own band. A couple of years ago I started teaching the drums to some students and found that I had a huge passion for teaching and watching my students progress. I try to make my lessons as fun and engaging as possible and always cater to the students needs or wants.
Learning an instrument should be fun; therefore I like to teach people the important parts of drumming (ie. technique, rhythm etc.) whilst teaching them to play their favourite songs. A typical lesson would last around an hour. I have two years experience as a drum tutor and over five as a professional. My lessons are for anyone wanting to improve on the drums; whether you are a complete beginner or someone with experience.
