I have been a qualified teacher since 2009 and taught in a variety of state and private schools in Kent, London, and Surrey. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a 2:1 in Theology and Religious Studies and was awarded my MA in 2010.
I have worked as a private music (violin and piano) teacher since I was in the sixth form, and, since qualifying as a teacher , have tutored Philosophy, English Literature, and Religious Studies to a variety of students internationally (online) and in person (locally).

I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. Since leaving mainstream teaching five years ago I have worked as a STEM tutor for a charity. My main role is to develop and provide workshops including coding, engineering, electronics and sustainability for all ages. But one task I had was to teach a Year 10 student Design and Technology for a year as his school did not have a DT specialist. This made me realise that I could use my experience to tutor other students privately.

I am a 22 year old music graduate and I play gigs around London with various artists, including my own band. A couple of years ago I started teaching the drums to some students and found that I had a huge passion for teaching and watching my students progress. I try to make my lessons as fun and engaging as possible and always cater to the students needs or wants.
Learning an instrument should be fun; therefore I like to teach people the important parts of drumming (ie. technique, rhythm etc.) whilst teaching them to play their favourite songs.
