I have 25 years experience teaching Design and Technology in Secondary schools and a private tutor since March 2023. I support GCSE (Y10/11) and A level Product Design (Y12/13). Since leaving mainstream teaching five years ago I have worked as a STEM tutor for a charity. My main role is to develop and provide workshops including coding, engineering, electronics and sustainability for all ages. But one task I had was to teach a Year 10 student Design and Technology for a year as his school did not have a DT specialist.
