I am a certified German language teacher. For a long time I lived in Germany and studied at a German language school. I prepare students for passing the exams: Goethe Zertifikat (A1-C2), TestDaf, Telc (A1-C2), DSH.

I hold an MA in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge. I have taught in Senior Schools and Sixth Form Colleges since completing my PGCE (also Cambridge) 20 years ago. Until recently I was a Head of RS, and am an experienced GCSE & A level tutor. I'm an examiner for GCSE RS, with an outstanding track record of results for my classes; I have also completed examiner training for A level RS. I am just taking up examining for Sociology GCSE. I am an experienced tutor for the 13+ TPR scholarship papers, with success in tutoring Y8 students for top schools. I offer support to young people for all types of entry to Senior Schools, and University preparation to study Theology.
I am also a qualified Careers Advisor, holding the Level 6 Diploma in Careers Guidance and Development; additionally I have a Life Coaching NVQ. I help students with Sixth Form/ University/ Apprenticeship/ Job applications, interview technique, CV writing, and conduct careers interviews to help ascertain life direction and ensure you are taking the right path.

He also has significant industrial experience in vegetable oil and oily waste servicing industries, working in various capacities from Research and Development Chemist, overseeing the quality control unit to a Lead / Senior Operator of a Thermal Desorption Unit (TDU) plant used for the remediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated oily wastes. His Industrial experience adds practical insights to his academic expertise. His educational background includes a strong proficiency in the Russian language, gained during his studies in Ukraine. Dr A. has held various administrative roles such as Head of Department and Dean of Faculty, demonstrating his leadership and versatility in adapting to new academic trends.
Since my childhood, I have always been interested to extend my repertoire. I believe in learning everyday from everyone. This has helped in the exchange of knowledge and also to keep up with the ever extending spectrum of the English language. I have been tutoring individual pupils from a variety of backgrounds and abilities for nearly a decade now. I have also been teaching GCSE, A-Level, and Year 9 history since 2013-14, and have an outstanding track record in terms of results. Approximately 90% of the students I have taught at GCSE level have achieved a 7-9 grade, and I have had pupils achieve places at Oxbridge to read History within the last two years. I have excellent technical knowledge of exam preparation and essay or source paper questions, and am especially familiar with content involving the crusades (1099-1204), Russia 1894-1924, International Relations 1919-1990, and Germany 1918-45. That being said, I am willing to work on content from any time period, and with pupils of any ability or age level. My particular strength lies in the passion that I have for my subject, and my primary aim is to inspire pupils with a love for the subject.
Outside of the classroom I have led or been involved with student trips to Berlin, Russia (Moscow and St. Petersburg), and the battlefields of France and Belgium. I am a recent graduate from the University of Oxford and achieved a two one in Geography. At university I wrote weekly essays and numerous pieces of coursework so can offer excellent essay advice. I am also able to offer university application help. I have A*'s in Biology, Geography and History at A level. Due to my exam preparation experience for these as well as for my finals, I can offer brilliant revision teaching. Previous tutoring experience is from Jacari, a charity that provides English as a foreign language tutoring. During the training for this, I was taught how to plan and deliver effective lessons, while the tutoring experience gave me the ability to produce highly tailored lessons. My lessons generally start with an assessment of my tutee's abilities, including any target areas. The following lessons will then generally involve interactive teaching followed by a short exercise and feedback. However, this format is flexible around the needs of the individual.

My name is Romina, I'm a lecturer specialising in drawing & painting. I have over 25 years of working in education & teaching.
I enjoy using my QTS to help people learn new skills which will enhance their lives. This may be to improve their ability in maths., their employment prospects or their ICT skills. In all cases, the teaching I provide may improve their quality of life.
My teaching philosophy is to try to spark interest in learners whilst retaining a clear goal: whether that be exam. success or a less formal, personal achievement. My substantial experience has been gained by working with primary, secondary school pupils and adults. Some of these learners have presented with special educational needs to which I have been able to adapt.
