I have taught boys and girls in secondary schools (boarding and day, single-sex and co-ed), and have tutored pupils from Y5 upwards. In a school environment I have taught the top year (Y6) in a primary school, and all tiers of secondary school (including GCSEs, A-Levels, and the International Baccalaureate). I have also tutored pupils preparing for Common Entrance exams and scholarship exams.
I think tuition sessions benefit from incorporating as much variety as possible, including vocabulary-picture association in memory games, translation work, grammar exercises, and (if required) the solid staple of vocabulary tests. I can provide tuition across the full spectrum of age and ability, from those facing particular challenges with their learning to assisting gifted students seeking to extend their studies. I always provide an updated 'Scheme of Work' to both pupil and parents after each session, so that everyone is clear what the targets are and what has been achieved.
Please note that lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full rate. Lessons cancelled between 24-48 hours beforehand will be charged at 50% of the full rate.

Helping Students Build Confidence, Achieve Success & Unlock Their Potential
As a qualified UK teacher with 15 years of experience, I specialize in Primary, Secondary, and GCSE education across maths, English, and science. Holding a PGCE and QTS, I have taught in mainstream schools, special educational needs (SEN) provisions, and diverse learning environments, ensuring that students of all backgrounds and abilities receive the support they need to succeed.
I have extensive experience working with students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other special educational needs (SEN), using tailored strategies to help them overcome learning barriers. Every child learns differently, and my individualized approach ensures that each student gains confidence, develops a deep understanding of key concepts, and excels academically.
Why Choose My Approach? ✅ Personalized, Student-Centered Learning
Many students struggle in traditional classroom settings because they don’t receive individual attention. I take a tailored approach, designing lesson plans that cater to each student’s unique learning style. Whether they need reinforcement in certain subjects or are preparing for major exams, my structured yet flexible lessons ensure maximum engagement and retention.
✅ Building Confidence & Independence
Success in academics isn’t just about getting the right answers—it’s about building confidence and problem-solving skills. Many students fear maths or struggle with English because they lack self-belief. I focus on instilling a growth mindset, helping students feel capable, motivated, and ready to take on challenges.
✅ Expert Exam Preparation – GCSE, A-Level & Beyond
Preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, and entrance exams can be stressful for both students and parents. My tutoring approach includes: ✔ Effective revision strategies – Teaching students how to study smarter, not harder. ✔ Time management techniques – Helping them structure revision for maximum efficiency. ✔ Exam technique coaching – Training students on how to approach different types of questions. ✔ Regular progress assessments – Identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
✅ Proven SEN & Autism Support
Having taught in SEN provisions and mainstream schools, I understand the unique challenges faced by students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and processing difficulties. I provide: ✔ Sensory-friendly learning techniques to help students focus and stay engaged. ✔ Structured lessons with clear routines to reduce anxiety and build consistency. ✔ Patience, encouragement, and a positive learning environment where students feel valued and supported.

Do you want to learn Japanese from scratch? Do you want to improve your Japanese with fun?
Let me help you. I am a qualified teacher with extensive experience in teaching and comprehensive knowledge of Education. I have completed Two MA and PhD graduate studies in Japan and the UK. I have taught Japanese at a prestigious grammar school in Kent.
With a long-term teaching career, I know how to deliver an effective lesson to improve students’ performance.
In my lesson, you can speak Japanese as much as you want! Because practice is the key to successful learning and a shortcut to becoming a fluent speaker. Even if you have full knowledge, it could be practically pointless when you cannot use it in a real situation.
I deliver pacey, articulate, and intensive lessons with lots of fun elements. I can customise lessons depending on your goal, interest, and level so that the format will vary. Absolute beginners are also very welcome, too!
Absolute beginner course has about 48 lessons /30 minutes (=24 lessons/ hour). I mainly use my handmade presentation slides created for standardised tests based on the grammar school's curriculum. You can gradually increase vocabularies and practise grammar in an organized way. When you complete this course, you will be able to speak, read, write, and listen to basic Japanese.
I am available before 5pm on weekdays, but this does not always apply to every student. So, please contact me to find out the detail.
Your first lesson is about 20 minutes, which is set for getting to know each other and check your Japanese level.
Lesson duration: One session is
30 mins or 40 mins. You can choose!
The platform is Zoom. The Lesson fee varies.
For face-to-face lesson, I am available morinig and early afternoon.
If any questions, pleaes feel free to ontact me.
I am excited to have you in my class!

English, Physical Education, and Sports Psychology lessons in South Ockendon, UK. I have been teaching just over 8 years. I have taught in various environments, FE, Secondary, Primary and in Homeschool and PRU situations. I believe that tutoring offers a specialised expereince and ability for the stuent to be given pure focus for that time slot. It allows for impact and for student progress. I absolutely love working in Education, specifically tutoring as I enjoy seeing the rewards that I get from the students whom I work with. I specialise in FE, students whom may need motivation who are not accessing their education and may need that help to get back on track and to see where their education/ A-level studies can take them. I love working with new students as I make it my purpose and mission to understand their learning styles and cater my lessons towards them.

I am a Modern Foreign Languages Graduate with several years of experience teaching both French and Spanish to A level (AQA and EDEXCEL). I am used to working with a wide range of students from lower to higher ability and have an open and direct approach to teaching and learning.
After working as an Au-Pair in France and spending a year teaching in Spain I went onto work in business as a Spanish Market Analyst. Throughout my career in Publishing, I frequently used French and Spanish whilst presenting or in international business negotiations. I speak French and Spanish fluently and Spanish on a daily basis and believe that languages are essential in today's working environment - not just as a communication tool but to better understand different cultures and societies.
At present, I teach in a Grammar School across all key stages.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
