I have many years teaching experience. I have completed BSc (Honours) in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University. In addition, I have passed two high profile professional exams (The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ACCA & Chartered Financial Analyst CFA) in accounting, finance and investment sector.

I teach accountancy, finance, investment, tax & statistics in graduate & post graduate level. In addition, I teach high profile professional exam students for ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT, CTA, ATT, CISI, IMC & CFA. I also teach portfolio management, wealth management, corporate finance, financial reporting, quantitative method, equity investment, fixed income, econometrics, alternative investment, risk management, derivatives and foreign exchange. In accountancy, I teach all subjects area which includes financial accounting, financial reporting, corporate reporting, management accounting, performance management, financial management including advanced financial management, audit and assurance, personal taxation, corporate taxation, capital gain tax, value added tax and inheritance tax. Moreover, I also teach GCSE mathematics and A level statistics & accounting and cover all boards syllabus.

I am a well-qualified, service driven, friendly and skilled professional. I thoroughly enjoy teaching students. My teaching style is very effective and efficient. I make the study material to students easy and understandable so that it makes sense to the learners. I provide friendly learning environment. I repeat key concept many times until the students grab it as understanding the key concept is very crucial for passing the exam. I demonstrate how to approach the exam question and answer the question within time limit as time management is another essential factor during the exam. Rate: The rate advertised in the profile is online rate. Online lesson is cheaper. Minimum rate for meet in person is £60 per hour and could be changed according to the distances. Rate could be changed due to complexity of the subject.
Other information: First lesson is 1 hour. Second and subsequent lesson is minimum 2 hours per session.

As a current third year Physics with Theoretical Physics student at King's College London, I have an unrivalled experience in both Physics and Mathematics that I can share with you. I have had several years of teaching experience in a few different areas. I am currently working at a tutoring centre where I help students develop their skills in a large array of subjects. I have also had professional tutoring experience with MyTutor where I have tutored students for A-Level and GCSE Maths and Physics for over a year, helping students to achieve the grades they require. With MyTutor I provided support to students over a video call, helping them with homework problems and achieving the grades they wanted.
I used to be member of my school's academic mentor team and eventually helped to run and organise the academic mentors. Our role was to provide support to younger students studying for their GCSEs. I would meet up with one or two younger students over lunchtimes and provide support and tuition in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I partook in the academic mentor team for two years.
Further to this, I was a member of my school's Combined Cadet Forces where I was trained in how to prepare and deliver lessons to younger cadets and was later given the responsibility of training them. My time leading cadets in the CCF taught me how to effectively deliver information to people and the importance of suiting my teaching style to different people. I have also given support to some of my friends with EFL tasks and would often try and explain the mistakes that they may have made. This helped me to learn how to communicate ideas in an effective manner to people who are not entirely fluent in English.
During the lesson I introduce the topic and then I apply it using many questions. I give the student worksheet after every lesson to try and in the next coming lesson we work on it togther.
RE: TEACHER/TUTOR MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCES I am passionate about teaching children and adults, and as a teacher, I hope to be a role model, that cultivates in young and elder people, open minds, the knowledge and skills, and ability to look at they would critically, and the belief in ones' capacity to make positive contributions to society. Later, as a student tutor I work with small group of children, helping with numeracy and English reading and writing. In 1974 when I was in the Technical College, Sri Lanka, I went on Student Tutoring Scheme where I gained experience in teaching arithmetic and literacy, and achieved experience gave me the basic understanding of a working classroom, and the knowledge that working with and educating children would be something that I would like to continue in my future life. My undergraduate studies in Belarus have covered a wide range of the content involved in teaching further mathematics at A Levels, and my postgraduate studies broadened my knowledge in higher university mathematics. I have demonstrated my communication skills through giving presentations and lecturing, both individually and in groups. Furthermore, I followed a Diploma course" Teaching Russian as Foreign a Language", which gave me further insight into teaching. Through my postgraduate degree I also gained time management, organization skills and analysing and interpretation of evidence and the consistent recording of relevant findings. While I was working in the Construction Industry in Sri Lanka, to be keep in touch in teaching I have worked as a visiting lecturer for Universities and Colleges. As a NCTEM PD LEAD and a Tutor/teacher in mathematics for the UK schools and individuals, I have planned detailed secessions/ lessons with basic to develop teaching methods and qualities using accurate mathematical vocabulary and writing logical answers to questions by informing and influencing participants, and improved understanding, awareness, and ability to use functional mathematics skills. I have adhered to consistent high standards of professional conduct. Having worked with all the ages in education in the UK, Belarus and Sri Lanka, I have shown an ability to adapt swiftly and effectively in international contexts, ensuring I provide the same high standards in each.
