Toby L. is a professional Jazz Saxophonist who recently finished his undergraduate degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. Most notably, Toby has performed as an independent artist at famous venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Oliver’s Jazz Club, The Barbican Centre, Pizza Express Live, London EFG jazz festival and with ensembles such as the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, Showtime Orchestra, Guildhall Jazz Orchestra and the Guildhall Big Band. Toby has taken his ensemble, Cyclone, across London and the UK hosting multiple jam sessions and events. Bringing Jazz to a younger audience through experimentation and fat backbeats, Toby is helping pave the way for a youth jazz revolution.
My style of teaching is to try to keep most of the lesson in the intrests in what the student is wanting to learn. My first lesson is getting to know you, your history within music and any aims you have for me to teach you. I can offer as many hours on request.
I am mobile so can drive to you and have a mobile piano if one was needed. All of the lessons we aim to have you playing and sining at pretty much all times.

Hello! I'm a music teacher with 5 years of experience and I specialise in harmony/theory, composition, and jazz improvisation. Whether you/ your child is a complete beginner, or you're a professional musician looking to 'add more musical ingredients to the cupboard', or anywhere inbetween, I'd love to hear from you so we can sort out a free taster lesson.
If you are completely new to music, the piano/keyboard (or the drums) is the best place to start. The layout of the keyboard forms the basis for our understanding of harmony and theory, without which, learners of instruments (other than drums) will be at a significant disadvantage.

As an accordionist, I have toured the world in my indie-folk band, performing at Glastonbury and writing a Top 40 Album. Whilst studying at The University of Manchester for my MusB Music degree, I specialised in classical piano performance, folk and contemporary accordion performance and composition.
Although I am classically trained, I also have a passion for folk music from around the world. This mixture of interest gives my lessons a rounded approach to music learning. In December 2018 I was awarded the Yiddish New York Scholarship for performance; this allowed me to travel to New York to perform in an international Klezmer festival with some of the best Klezmer musicians in the world.

Hi my name is Laura. I have always enjoyed music and I believe it is one of the best ways you can express yourself as an individual. I started learning the electronic keyboard at the age of 11 at a music school, later migrating to piano in my teens. My obsession with music continued all to the way through to my late teens and early 20s when I later graduated with a Bachelor's Degree with Honours at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. While studying music at university, I was lucky to receive expert tuition from Jazz Pianist and composer Chris Ingham. Since graduation I always wanted to be in a funk or soul band and even now regularly turn up to jazz gigs and jams and play at open mics as I feel its so important to keep your music fresh and learn off other people.
I have been teaching piano as a peripatetic and private teacher since I left University, so when I was 21 years old.
I was really lucky to experience tuition in such a contemporary, 'non stuffy' manner, I truly believe this is the way music should be taught. There's nothing worse than dull piano lessons! Music is like a language, we learn it through the art of doing. I believe in teaching music in a friendly, non-fussy way and I like to bring out the best in my students by tailoring their lessons around them and their goals. Daphne was born in Hong Kong. She started to learn piano at age of five. And she gained the Diploma of ABRSM in piano perform and piano accompaniment in early years, she holds Licentiate of the Trinity College of Music London (ATCL) in piano performance, she also gets singing grade eight of the ABRSM, She is studying in the Bachelor of Music at Kingston University in Hong Kong University , and she gets Professional Diploma in Chinese University, Diploma Program in Performance Practice .
She went to Poland to further her study. She spent years visiting masterclasses and sit in lessons in different academies. In year 2000, She performed with Allegro Singers in Salzburg.
Years before she was attracted by Prof. Stephen Wong's was attracted by his flawless piano technique , and beautiful melodies she decided to study from him as a life~long teacher.
In recent years, Daphne has been active as a music educator, performer and accompanies. She actively performed with local chamber orchestra in charity concerts, tours at local kindergartens and primary schools, promoting classical music to Hong Kong audience and raising funds for charity.

I have taken care of someone who had accident and was unable to walk. I had to driver them around and help them with their meds and food, among other things. I currently take care of my grandparents, they are 87 and 83 respectively. I cater to all their needs including feeding, personal hygiene, recreation and outings. I am also an excellent and careful driver as I have to drive them most times especially to church and other events.
