Science Clinic Private Tutors was founded in 2010. Our vision was to help struggling children understand the concepts of the major subjects which are sought after by many colleges & universities. Our tutoring was mainly in the main subjects (Maths, all 3 Sciences & English Language) to exam students only. Because of the huge demand of tutoring in all year groups, we now teach students across the board from Primary (KS1 & KS2) through to GCSE, A-level and University. We were luck to have had colleagues we share the same vision with join us. Now we can teach all subjects from Primary through to GCSE, College /A-levels and Science & Maths at University level. All our teachers / tutors are graduates and qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who understand the National Curriculum. Some of them are examiners at GCSE and A-level, which means they know the exam techniques students need to answer the exam questions properly and get better grades. Within the team, we have professionals with very high qualifications ie Masters Degrees (MSc / MA) and PhDs in various subjects. We can, therefore, be confident to say we are professionals who are dedicated to what we do with proven records in the UK’s most entrance and national exams. We are a tutoring organisation that is defined by its professionalism. Our aim is to provide a personal service. This makes us very different from most tutoring companies that just offer a platform for tutors and students to meet. We speak to clients so that we can match them with the most appropriate tutor for their needs. When this happens, the results can be remarkable & confidence grows. We personally know all our tutors and all have had DBS checks and their qualifications checked before we take them on. We are also a member of The Tutors’ Association (TTA) which was formed in 2013 to provide standards to the tutoring industry.

With a rich background encompassing four years of dedicated tutoring in science, I've had the privilege of guiding students from KS3 to GCSE levels, nurturing their understanding and passion for the subject. Throughout my tutoring journey, my commitment has always been geared towards fostering not just comprehension but also a deep-rooted appreciation for science.
I firmly believe in a student-centric approach, tailoring my teaching methodologies to match the unique learning styles and needs of each individual. This approach has consistently led to remarkable academic progress and success among my students, reflected in their improved grades and a genuine enthusiasm for science.
My journey as a tutor has been driven by a passion for ensuring the success of my students. I'm dedicated to instilling not only knowledge but also the confidence and skills necessary for their academic advancement. I take immense pride in the achievements of my students and remain committed to guiding them towards their academic goals.
I prefer to build strong, personal relationships with students, because I believe personal relationship is foundation to student success. The more associated the student feels, the more teacher earns respect and consideration, the key ingredients for students to learn well. I teach to the student's strength that helps me to minimize the student weaknesses. I always listen and communicate early and often with parents, that helps me to map a better plan for success. I always believe that, the better lesson planning by tutor leads to student success. I always plan my every session keeping these 6 points in my mind. 1. Outline learning objectives 2. Develop the introduction 3. Plan the specific learning activities (the main body of the lesson) 4. Plan to check for understanding 5. Develop a conclusion 6. Create a practical timeline I have got Engineering degree qualification, which makes me the most appropriate tutor for mathematics subject. I have studied as well trained the simplest mathematics as well as complex one. So, I know the subject's concepts, ideas and problems inside out. I can discuss and introduce the rigor of real-life applications. I can make learning relevant to students' interests, thus create more students who actually care about what they are learning. I am very much aware of National Curriculum of UK and know about the key stages and the assessments, the student would go through after completing each key stage. I always prefer to discuss child's progress with his/her parents by the end of each assessment. That would assist me to meet the expectations of parents.

I specialise in working with students on a 1-on-1 basis, easing and tackling individual areas of difficulty at their appropriate pace – something that can be difficult to receive in the standard school environment. My teaching approach is adaptive upon students’ own learning attitude, thus, presenting resources in various ways. It is focused on fostering a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a topic, before applying that knowledge to solving questionnaires. I also specially aid with exam preparation to share my own unique methods of working and exam techniques/tips. Ultimately, I aim to develop one’s self-esteem and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.
I have taught a wide age group from 5 to 24, which my past tutor sessions were based on creativity of my hobbies such as art, which always worked absolutely well since when I was a GCSE student.
I have many experiences working with children, especially with spending my work experience as an assistant in a primary school class, I was able to interact and deal with various situations to keep the children calm, focused and motivated. As a school tutor, I utilised my organisational skills to collect resources and investigated various methods of teaching to find the most efficient way to deliver difficult contents, suiting the students’ own learning attitude appropriately. I have passion towards mathematics thus, I have participated and have been awarded many times for UKMT, and moreover, for Chemistry and Physics Olympiad challenges as Gold and Bronze respectively.
