I am a professional guitar teacher with many years of teaching experience. I am well known, not just for being a good musician, but for my passion and ability at teaching well structured understandable lessons. Lessons 9 am until 9 pm seven days a week. I have also experience in teaching students with special needs.
Learn by grade, theory, technique or just songs you like. All lessons are tailored for your specific needs and personal goals. Covering all styles and genres. I can also assist in preparation for Rockschool, 21 st, Century Guitar Method (Grades 1-3), RGT & SQA Standard and Higher examinations.
Lessons are taught in the comfort of your own home and are suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Beginners my speciality. Some practice and you'll sound good after just four lessons. Can also show you how to look after and maintain your guitar and I'm a wizard with Floyd Rose set-ups.
My lessons enable my pupils to develop with confidence and enjoyment. Planning all lessons with precision and care, while creating a relaxed pleasant environment to teach. Making lessons interesting and fun, but most importantly guiding you to progress quickly and effectively, so that you feel confident in your guitar playing abilities.

Learning any instrument should be a fun and rewarding experience, I am passionate about music and hope to pass this onto all the students I teach.
I have been teaching guitar, bass and ukulele since 2000. Throughout this time, I have worked with several different organisations. These include the Derbyshire City and County Music Partnership, Sheffield Music service, HI Gain Guitar school and Harmony Music school. At present I still work along side the Sheffield Music Service as an accredited teacher. This gives me access to professional development courses as well as an enhanced DBS certificate. A recent observation judged my lessons as outstanding.
Through teaching guitar, I have had the pleasure of see many of my students grow into well round musicians performing in bands and working in the music industry. Students range from beginner to established players looking to refine their skills. Everyone is welcome, and I teach students from the age of 7 right through to retired people looking for a new challenge.
Through teaching guitar, I have been interviewed for the guitar tutor magazine as well as being feature in the Guitar techniques magazine.
Aside from teaching I have worked in many bands over my career playing in venues across the country from theatres to clubs and everything in between. One of my claims to fame is performing in front of both Prince William and Prince Harry.
As well as teaching and gigging, I also work for the London College of music as an examiner. For this I travel around the country conducting exams in Guitar, Bass and Ukulele from the beginner stage right through to diplomas in performance and teaching. This work has not only seen me travel across the U. K but I have also completed 2 exam tours of Australia and New Zealand as well as trips to Greece, Cyprus and Ireland.

I have taught guitar in Sussex for 25 years, both privately and in schools, colleges and university. I help students with auditions, performances, music exams and just getting better at playing. Whether you want to learn classical guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar or ukulele, I have the knowledge and experience to ensure you can progress quickly.
I provide tuition for music theory and often contribute practical help and guidance for composing and song-writing. I even have experience on lute and baroque guitar, if you have an interest in early music. I have recently completed a BA in Music at the University of Lincoln and am now studying for a Master's degree in Musicology at the University of Edinburgh. I have played the violin for 15 years and am open to students of any age/ability.
Main instrument is violin but can also teach ukulele. I'm happy to help prepare for any GCSE or A Level exams in terms of theory and history. I can also help with performance anxiety and techniques.

Mario R. started his musical journey at the age of 9 and was inspired by his father and a friend from school to take up the piano. He took private lessons in Piano, Music Theory and Harmony for 6 years and continued his studies in several music schools such as Professional Musician Institute, Lino Liviabella, Bettino Padovano across Italy. Throughout his musical career, Mario’s most influential teachers have been Massimo Morganti, Giuseppe Continenza, Gary Willis, Gabriele Pesaresi, Phil Peskett, Simon Purcell, Steve Watts, Andrea Solarino, Paul Westwood and more.
Mario attended Arcevia Jazz Feast Summer Camp from 2008 to 2013 which led to masterclasses in Improvisation, Music Harmony, Composition, Arrangement, Bass Technique, Ear Training with some of the biggest artists and composers in the world music scene that included George Garzone, Bob Brookmeyer, Ayn Inserto, Scott Henderson, Gary Willis, John Stowell, Bob Mintzer, Dave Holland, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Scott Henderson and more. In 1990, Mario began studying bass guitar and playing also piano and keyboard in several bands.
Since 1997, Mario has been teaching music privately in schools while working as a professional musician in several Italian and UK bands. His musical expertise as a performer and teacher spans genres from Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Latin and Electronic music.
In 2013 he moved to London where he is now based and completed his Bachelor's degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and specialised in Jazz Performance and Composition.

I am a UK graduate in the field of Teaching English as a Second Language. I specialise in teaching the English language as a second language and English literature. I have been teaching in a high school in Malaysia for more than 6 years. In addition to teaching English, I have also trained students in debate, public speaking, essay-writing competitions, sketch video competition and poetry recitation. Living in a multi-cultural society since young, I can communicate in Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese in addition to English. During my university years, I performed on various occasions and choir performances. The highlight would be my experience playing the piano for MARJON choir at the Birmingham Choir Festival in 2013. I was the recipient of the David Baker Organ scholarship for 3 consecutive academic years from 2011-2013. I also know how to play the harp, guitar, and ukelele in addition to piano and music theory. Being able to play by ear, I can play any songs requested by my clients on the piano and the harp in music therapy sessions.
