Hi, I’m Faith, a passionate classical double bass student currently studying at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Originally from West Yorkshire, I have had the privilege of playing as a sub-principal with the Opera North Youth Orchestra and am currently on a student placement with the National Children’s Orchestra, where I am developing valuable teaching skills.
I offer music lessons for students of all levels, from beginners to Grade 8, and also provide tutoring for GCSE Music, Grade 5 Theory, and A-Level Music. I hold A-Levels in both academic music and music technology, and I have experience helping students develop their musical understanding and performance skills. In addition to my classical training, I’m an experienced bass guitarist and regularly perform with a function band.
As someone who is dyslexic and dyspraxic, I understand the importance of adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles. I have a unique perspective that helps me connect with students, especially those with additional needs, ensuring lessons are engaging, accessible, and tailored to individual strengths.
