I taught maths from GCSE to STEP at an academy in Essex from 2009 to 2017 and at another Essex academy from 2020 to 2024. In both academies I taught GCSE Mathematics A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics and STEP. About half of my students have been recommended to me. I have been a private tutor since September 1987. I do not cover D1 or D2 or Modelling With Algorithms at A level. I have a first class honours degree from Goldsmith College London where I won the Stanley Hails Memorial Prize.

Difficult concepts are broken down in smaller ones through scaffolding using different techniques differentiated according to each child`s individual need. I’ve been tutoring GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics for over four years, with more than 1,000 hours of online tutoring experience. Having achieved top grades in my own A-Levels just five years ago and recently graduating top of my cohort with First-Class Honours in Physics from the University of Nottingham, I know the subject content inside out and what it takes to excel in exams.
