Hi, my name is Kully and it's very nice to meet you. Thank you for taking this time out to read my profile!
For the last 10 years, I have been working as a primary school teacher at an outstanding school.
I have over 15 years experience and have worked within many schools, two of which were long-term.
Over the years, my teaching career has allowed me to experience many different and difficult situations. These in turn have made me a more confident, organised, resourceful and experienced (in many years groups) teacher.
My current role is as a cover teacher - where I teach children from Nursery up to Year 6.
I am currently taking part in the Government led school tutoring program, where at present I tutor 3 children from Year 2 in Writing. This has deepened my experience further, especially when assisting children to achieve the best they can.
I have carried out and planned for many 1:1 or group interventions in Maths and English to assist with our school's Covid catch-up program.
I want to build a good rapport with my tutees, a relationship that is fun, respectful and honest.
It's all about adapting the learning to the tutee and making them feel that they are in control of their learning too. Having a good sense of humour always helps too!
Please leave a message if you would like to discuss your child's needs.
Looking forward to meeting you.

I am experienced teacher and Depury Head Teacher. I have taught pupils from 3 to 14 years in a range of schools. I am highly patient and will strive to adapt my approaches to suit individual pupil needs. I believe that everyone can achieve it learning is presented in an appropriate www.*** ;
I have tutored pupils in Reading, writing, maths and Science as well as extensive experience teaching the full primary curriculum in the classroom.
I believe in making learning fun and engaging and linking it with real life. I enjoy working with pupils who may not always excel in whole class teaching and who may lack confidence in their own abilities. I have been successful in helping many pupils passing statutory tests by offering s different bespoke approach.

I have been a part-time tutor for four years. My personality and qualities fit complementary to tutoring, developing others’ potential by sharing mine. I have assisted and tutored young students from simple intervention sessions (helping young children develop their English & Maths skills) and GCSE & A-Level students towards exams and 7+/11+ entrance exams, bringing success into the study community. I also teach Korean (in which I am fluent) at all levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
I specialise in working with students on a 1-on-1 basis, easing and tackling individual areas of difficulty at their appropriate pace – something that can be difficult to receive in the standard school environment. My teaching approach is adaptive upon students’ own learning attitude, thus, presenting resources in various ways. It is focused on fostering a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a topic, before applying that knowledge to solving questionnaires. I also specially aid with exam preparation to share my own unique methods of working and exam techniques/tips. Ultimately, I aim to develop one’s self-esteem and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.
I have taught a wide age group from 5 to 18, which my past tutor sessions were based on creativity of my hobbies such as art, which always worked absolutely well since when I was a GCSE student.
I have many experiences working with children, especially with spending my work experience as an assistant in a primary school class, I was able to interact and deal with various situations to keep the children calm, focused and motivated. As a school tutor, I utilised my organisational skills to collect resources and investigated various methods of teaching to find the most efficient way to deliver difficult contents, suiting the students’ own learning attitude appropriately. I evolved my communication competency whilst discovering the students’ difficulty and preferred revision methods, also.
I am someone who has academically succeeded highly through UK national curriculum. I have passion towards mathematics thus, I have participated and have been awarded many times for UKMT, and moreover, for Chemistry and Physics Olympiad challenges as Gold and Bronze respectively. I held responsibility as a School Ambassador and School tutoring, volunteered to be a Reader Leader who helps those who struggle reading and understanding the story with success. I aid in writing model answers for GCSE & A-Level exam questions as well. Not only am I self-disciplined and persevered but I enjoy hobbies that are based on creativity: DIY craft and art, piano, dancing, sport, ballet, balancing my work and leisure. I am also fluent in English and relatively fluent in Korean with a basic level of French language. My experiences in life, living in various different countries allowed me to interact and adapt into many different societies, overcoming many barriers. Hence, I am very approachable and developed lots of life skills.
Not only have I built responsibilities and punctuality and polished my competencies. For those who I mentor have developed their own self-esteem, confidence and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.

I believe I have a strong educational background. I have received 8A*, 3As and B for my GCSE and I got an A for my AS physics and I graduated with A*A*A for Maths, Chemistry and biology for A level. Throughout my secondary school, I have been nominated several times as the top in the year for several subjects like Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I have also contributed to Maths and Biology Olympiad achieving silver for both. I am currently studying BSc Biomedical Sciences at UCL and achieved 74% overall for my 2nd year exam. I have also written model answers for PMT Education last month thus GCSE – A level contents for Maths and Sciences for various UK examboards thus I am very knowledgeable with different examboard styles and contents.
I have good organisation skills: I always plan and prepare resources to provide the best learning experience for the students. I try to be friendly, patient and become an active listener. Also, I am usually very interactive with students to build their problem-solving skills. I can personalise the teaching style to fit each student’s different learning style and pace of learning. I have tutored students (age 6-18) for 5 years for mainly maths, sciences and piano but I have tutored English before up to GCSE level. I have also helped A level students with their university admission for medicine/science courses + Oxbridge. I did remote teaching during the Covid pandemic thus I am comfortable and knowledgeable at using online platforms and I usually tutor with an iPad as well. I like taking new challenges. I always enjoyed taking new roles during study (such as Course Rep and student quality reviewer) and learning new skills (such as how to use photoshop, procreate and solidworks). Hence I believe I would take on the challenge well with my hardworking and positive attitude. I am also available immediately thus able to start the lesson as soon as possible.
