I am a qualified teacher with over twenty years experience in both the state and private sector. I have successfully worked with children across the SENIOR SECONDARY and secondary age, giving them the knowledge and confidence to achieve their full potential at school. I have excellent understanding of the requirements of the major exam boards, which has enabled me to support and guide my GCSE students and as a result the vast majority of them have achieved their desired grades.After an initial assessment and consultation with the student and their parents I set up a personalised study plan with targets agreed by all parties. I work at the student's pace, ensuring in-depth understanding of the topics covered in the lesson. This is then followed up by homework activities in order to reinforce their understanding of the topic. All students have their preferred way of learning and I try to accommodate all types of learning styles to maximise their enjoyment of the lesson and aid their success in achieving their academic goals.

Building confidence in Education
I am passionate in education for all, and for all to succeed. Every child can find their own success; not only that meets the needs of the academic requirements, but also the needs of the child. Engaging their individual curiosity and enquiry for learning, I believe, allows a child to become a successful and independent learner for now and the future. I have been teaching in primary schools for the past 20 years, based in the Midlands. I have taught across the primary key stages from years 1 through to 6 and have been a KS1 phase leader, Maths and Science Leader in a variety of settings. I have been a private tutor for the past 15 years enabling children from ages 6 to 16 to find confidence in mathematics and English. Through this confidence, the students have often gone on to be successful in other areas of the curriculum, not just the areas they have been tutored in, as they have newfound believe in their own personal abilities and have a positive and confident mind set. I have taught modules on Teacher Training, specifically behaviour management and structures of learning. I have a full understanding of how children learn and what is needed to achieve success, not just in the subject but also within the child. I believe that a positive mind set is key to fulfilling potential and high performance in any area. Having a clear understanding of the pathway that each child needs to take is crucial in this success. Therefore, I regularly keep updated with the recent pedagogical development within education and the variety of learning resources available for use. It has often been said of me that I am fun, humorous and engaging in the classroom, but the proof is in the attainment of the pupils I teach in class and the students I teach privately. Children feel valued, supported and confident in their ability to move forward in their learning.

I am a polite, patient and friendly DBS-certified University lecturer, with a passion for teaching. Being lecturer means I not only have all the academic understanding and knowledge required to be a fantastic and thorough tutor, but I can also sympathise with my tutees about the quirks and difficulties of educational mathematics and tailor the experience to make sure they reach their full potential. I will also motivate my tutees in their study of mathematics and demonstrate how it is both a beautiful subject in its own right and an invaluable tool in the real world. The courses I offer tuition in are: - A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Outside of my teaching, I enjoy cycling, playing badminton and cooking. In addition to providing tuition in Loughborough, I offer home tutoring in areas within 5 miles of Loughborough (at a marginally higher cost). I also offer Online Tuition; however, I highly recommend having lessons face-to-face (once we are out of lockdown). In the interest of maintaining high-quality tuition, I much prefer to not have every lesson online, but instead using my online services as a method of continuity. I believe (and have witnessed!) that everybody learns differently, and effective teaching comes from incorporating these differences; so, I will provide an environment for learning that is completely malleable to my tutees` needs. Fundamentally though, mathematics requires both an understanding of a topic and sufficient practice, so each session will split the time between these two. I encourage my tutees to steer each session towards their needs (and interests) - for example, particular difficulties with one topic or more detailed explanations and applications of another - which will not only ensure that they maximise the efficiency of their learning but also will build their own confidence in their abilities.

My main experience is in KS2 (Years 4, 5 and 6) but am qualified for the whole Primary age range, 5- 11 years. In my experience as a Teacher, I have taught children with Dyslexia, children with Autism, children with Aspergers, children with social and emotional needs and looked after children.
My approach is very child centered. I look at celebrating the positives first and then gradually working through the harder bits, all at the child's pace, with a view to plugging any gaps so the child can celebrate success in their learning.
I teach in many different ways to appeal to the different learning styles (auditory, visual and kinaesthetic) and believe it is important to give the child a meaningful context to their learning (i. e relate it to everyday life).

As a former A-Level student, and a young person myself, I recognise the importance of teaching and helping others on a level that all students can understand, thus having a greater impact on the academic achievement of any person. I have a passion for education growth which is supported by my work with the LetHerLearn scheme, which is why helping young people to achieve their best through academics is so important to me. Whilst academics is highly regarded, my passion and talent in Ballroom, Latin and Street dancing, achieving grades from highly commended to distinction, is also something I enjoy helping others learn.

I am a BSc Mathematics and Actuarial Science student and have recently finished my first year in the University of Leicester. I have completed my GCSE's and CIE AS and A Levels where Maths was one of my www.*** ;
I have had experience in tutoring an overseas A Levels student in CIE A Level Maths. Due to the pandemic, she was not able to get the best out of the online learning and asked me to assist her before she took mock exams for teachers to provide an average grade for her AS Levels. I have also had the chance to help my siblings, who are aged 10, 12 and 14, in Maths. I have helped them with homework concepts, personal practice doubts and I have taught them specific topics that they required help with.
I am available for students who would like help over the summer with Maths whether it be for concepts that may not be clear from this year or preparation for the next year's portions. My strategy for teaching is practice as it is highly important after you learn the concepts to give time to ensuring that you know how to apply the knowledge you have gained.
The first lesson that you book will be free and will be a time where we discuss and find out what exactly you would like for me to help the students with. On an ongoing basis, I will ensure that my tutoring is tailored to their needs and requirements.
I am unable to travel but am happy to provide my services www.*** ;

After being a Radio and Live event presenter for many I have transferred these skills to the class where I work full time as a year 6 teacher. I have previously taught year 1 2 3 and 4. With this previous career among other jobs, i am able to bring real life contexts to all of my lessons from a variety of angles. Confidence is not just key, in my opinion it is king to any learners accademic and social development therefore my lessons are not just based on accademia but confidence and problem solving. In my spare time i run for charity raising over £2500 to date. I believe whether it is entertaining audiences or educating learners keeping them engaged is key. My main unique selling point is that i am Dyslexic and Dyspraxic myself thereforel I am a good role model for all students as I'm a full time primary teacher proving that anything is possible.

I do lessons online (skype, zoom and messenger) and face to face lesson only at my home if students live up to 20 miles. Biology, chemistry, physics and maths are my favourite subjects that I have been teaching and tutoring since 1990. Also I am a part time lecturer and researcher for genetics at the university since 2009 till present time. I am very eager to tutor as teaching is a great job. Maths is my tool to teach and use in the three sciences as it will help students succeed more. I teach first few 15 minutes or twenty minutes explaining the ideas then the rest of the hour I work with the students on practicing how to answer different type of questions regarding the ideas we have went over. It is not an hour or two to write only notes but to work with the students to be practical using the ideas in questions, how to apply them and why to learn about them. lesson should be interesting to attract students to love to learn and enjoy studying with me as well to leave the tutoring hour feeling there was a gain of knowledge, practice techniques to answer the questions and no need to go home and revise again and mostly to gain confidence. Аll this to be done from September not two weeks to exams.

Hi all,
My name is Sam W. and I am a mathematics teacher from Nottingham, UK.
July 2017 I have been tutoring online part-time and have now moved to full-time tutoring through zoom platforms, 5 days a week. I enjoy working with students (children/adults) that have a passion for mathematics or who struggle with the www.*** ;
I have experience working in both primary and secondary mainstream settings, whilst currently working part time also, in an alternative provision for students with special needs. I deliver both 30 minute & 50 minute lessons, reaching students across the UK and as far as eastern asia.
I would be more then happy to offer a free trial session, so that I can get to know the student and find out exactly what it is they enjoy/struggle www.*** ;
My lessons are fun, interactive and as practical as can be :)
I hope to hear from you soon
Sam
