I really enjoy tutoring and have excellent feedback that can be read on the Tutor Hunt website. I tutor all of the exam boards in the subjects that I have selected and I have an enhanced CRB check. I tutor a lot online mostly using Facetime although I also use Skype and Zoom. I a BSC HONS 2:1 IN Economics from 1983 and a PGCE in Economics and Maths from Warwick University in 1987.
I have successfully taught all of the subjects listed in state education for 25 years and for an additional 9 years as a private tutor

Currently working as a teacher of science in a renowned secondary school located in Hampshire, I am an advocate of active learning. Equipped with 3 years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom, I specialise in nurturing examination techniques. I do have in-depth knowledge of examination specifications and strive to teach the students to master the techniques needed to answer the examination questions.
I tutor chemistry and physics to Key Stage 3 and 4 students in Southampton, UK. For Key Stage 3 students, I find it important to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible. This is to cultivate the students' enthusiasm for science as a whole. GCSE science students do have trouble answering the questions in the examinations - the key words, the question words and the information needed to get the full marks in each questions have to be taught and practised.

For more than two years I have helped more than one hundred students in mathematics but also in physics, chemistry, biology, and english. I like teaching sciences and I prefer teaching mathematics. I know, most of you are afraid with mathematics. However, with a good method, and a good work as well, you will have good marks and maybe become the best in your classroom. My method is simple; we solve exercises together. I will be here to explain you everything you need to know and help you with the exercices. What is the goal of doing a lot of exercises ? If you think you can have good marks in mathematics only by studying the theory, you are wrong. The theory is important, I agree, but most of your time should be spend on exercises, you need to practice, again and again. I always use this principle in my life (Pareto principle) because I need to be super efficient and this is the best way to be. You can guess now, we will study mathematics together and you will also have some bonus tips about studies, because every module is different and you don't study mathematics like you study philosophy. As I said before, I am here to help you, and I am not worried for you; like every student I had, you will do it !

Hi there! I am a fully qualified Secondary Mathematics teacher with 5 years experience working in a Secondary comprehensive and able to offer bespoke KS2/3 and GCSE tutoring.
I have taught in a range of contexts - from focused Y11 exam revision workshops on a 1:1 basis all the way up to delivering sequential curriculum to hundreds of students - and no matter the situation, seeing the `lightbulb` go off is what I live for.
I aim to always provide a safe and stimulating classroom environment, where students feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and learn while also pushing themselves to achieve their best.
One of my greatest strengths in a classroom is my ability to develop strong rapport with students and help them to see Maths in a new and more positive light. Going from a position of `I can`t do this` to `I can do this` is a challenge, but together we `can`!

Hello, I am a student looking to begin tutoring younger students. Currently, I am studying educational psychology. I have always been a very average student, typically getting B's in school with the occasional A - so if you're looking for someone super smart, that won't be me. Children's education is very important to me and I knew when i was 5 that I wanted to work with schools. I would love to help individuals wanting a bit of extra support with stuff that I already learnt.
