Hi, I’m Bryony—I’m 27 and currently in my second year of a BSc Mathematics degree. I achieved highly in my school examinations of Mathematics, Physics and Music (3A*S) so I know how to help students achieve high levels. I am also on track to achieving a first in my Mathematics Degree.
I have worked with a mix of neurotypical and neurodivergent students over the years, and have found many approaches that satisfy different learning styles dependent on the student. My aim is to create a calm, supportive space that helps you grow in confidence, skill and achieve the highest grades you are capable of.
All sessions are crafted by myself and specialised to the individual, ensuring that the student has the best teaching that also fits their learning style.

Mathematics and Physics
I have nearly 4 years experience tutoring Mathematics and Physics to students ranging in age from 7-17. I have coached KS2 to A-level in Mathematics and Physics (including different syllabuses).
A large proportion of my students achieve high marks in their examinations, with a few gaining a 9 in GSCE Maths last year. I had one student last year who went from a 5 in their mock Mathematics GCSE, to getting an 8 as their final grade, and is now studying it at A Level! My Physics students also achieve very well, last year gaining a range of results between 7-9, which is just wonderful.
Some of my A-Level students from last year also went on to study Maths, Medicine, and Physics as well as other degrees at some prestigious Russell Group Univisities, and a few gained entry into Oxbridge.
********************
********************
Secondary School Entrance Exams (Year 7 and Sixth-Form).
I tutor for Secondary School Entrance Examinations (including verbal and non-verbal reasoning) to help students prepare for these. My sessions focus on building the problem-solving skills, pattern recognition, and logical thinking needed to tackle these challenging question types. Using practice papers, proven techniques, and timed drills, I help students improve accuracy, speed, and confidence.
I have around 3-4 years experience preparing clients for Secondary School and 6th Form entrance exams; some of whom have gained access to a great variety of independent and grammar schools: including Newstead Woods, Tonbridge Grammar School for Girls, Dulwich College, St Olave's and Westminster School.
**********************
********************
ABRSM Music Theory
I have over 5 years experience tutoring ABRSM Music Theory; as a Diploma Level Pianist and Grade 8 Clarinettist I have completed them all, and have helped a hundred odd students pass theirs too.
*********************
*********************
Electrical Installation Theory
I tutor the theoretical side of City & Guilds Electrical Installation Qualifications (whether simply college or with an adjoining apprenticeship) drawing upon my own experience completing a Level 3 apprenticeship. My focus is on helping learnings understand the key principles, regulations and calculations required to succeed in the classroom and in exams. I've supported many apprentices in my company through their studies, helping them build confidence and pass their qualifications with a solid understanding of the theory behind the trade.
**********************
My students start to enjoy their subjects more, catch up with their classmates, find confidence in their abilities and achieve well in their examinations. My hardworking students always exceed expectations and raise their standard between the beginning of tutoring to the final exam, most achieve 2 levels higher than the grades they were normally getting!
I offer both online and in-person lessons, depending on what works best for you. Most sessions last an hour although I tend to start off slower with students under 11.
I offer a free first session to chat about your goals, and see if my teaching style works for you. Contact me if I sound like the right fit for your student :)

Hello! I'm Daisy and I'm a postgraduate student at King's College London and tutor up to A-level. I have a BSc in mathematics from the University of Nottingham.
I've been tutoring for 5 years including a year full time. I've delivered over 2000 hours of online lessons and many face-to-face.
In my lessons I focus on clear explanations and aim to make maths more approachable, especially to those who have struggled or felt less confident in school.
Available for maths tuition online or in-home in London. Send me a message to book in a free initial meeting where we can discuss the best lesson plan personal to you. Generally students have already identified a few topics they struggle with as a starting point.
Lesson structure varies but we will always have a recap of related topics that we may be building on the lesson, examples and explanation as needed and a focus on practice questions. If you are preparing for an exam we will also look at exam technique. I would usually recommend that we focus on one topic at a time and take time to really get the hang of it, rather than rush through lots of content that is difficult to retain.
I always check my lesson content against the national curriculum and/or relevant exam syllabus.

I am an effective communicator, with a passion for mathematics with over 10 years of tutoring work experience both within students homes and learning establushments.
I am experienced in travelling across London to support students with their learning.
I have studied maths to a high level, beyond what I was taught at university and have used my knowledge in supporting students as a maths tutor. I thrive on problem solving and in identifying aspects of learning that others may find difficult. I am looking for a career where I have the opportunity to increase people's confidence in a supported environment.
I have an adaptable, patient approach to students learning and ensure I inspire students at all levels.
I also have an advanced DBS.

I take a student focused approach to tutoring. My goal is to build confidence as well as understanding by making tricky topics feel approachable and engaging. I adapt my teaching methods depending on how each student learns best – whether that’s through step-by-step explanations, diagrams, analogies, or active questioning.
I make heavy use of past paper practice, since it's one of the most effective ways to prepare for GCSEs. We work on mastering exam technique and recognising common question patterns, so students feel fully prepared by exam season.
A typical lesson is 60 minutes long. During that time, I usually:
Begin with a quick recap or starter question,
Dive into teaching or reviewing the chosen topic,
Work through examples together, and
End with a few exam-style questions to apply what’s been covered.
I’ve been tutoring GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry for over 2 years, and I’ve helped students move up multiple grades through consistent, focused support. I achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Chemistry, Biology and Maths, so I know exactly what it takes to succeed in these subjects from a student's perspective.

I'm a trainee secondary Geography teacher, currently studying at UCL’s Institute of Education while teaching full-time on placement. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
As someone with ADHD and dyspraxia, and with close family experience of autism, I truly understand that every student learns differently. My aim is to help everyone achieve their academic potential, and show anyone with additional barriers in their way that they can succeed in a world not designed for them.
I achieved top grades in school, including an A* in English Literature, an A in Geography, a B in Psychology, and strong results across core subjects like Maths and Science.
I bring patience, empathy, and vast creativity to my sessions, adapting my teaching style to suit each individual. Whether you or your child needs help catching up, boosting their exam skills, or just gaining self confidence, I provide a calm, supportive space to learn and grow.
Im very flexible with location, provided i have a car and a 3 minute walk to the Piccadilly line.
Would love to hear from anyone looking to grow their academic or personal skills!

I am an experienced Mathematics tutor, helping students from GCSE to university level for over twelve years. I have a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College, London and an MSc in Financial Mathematics from Warwick University.
Tutorial sessions would normally take place at my home in Stanmore or online.
INITIAL SESSION: I take the opportunity to understand more about the student, past exam results, other subjects being studied and future goals – this enables me to plan further sessions tailored to the areas which need most attention at the right time.
CONFIDENCE: I try to help students gain confidence in their ability by working on areas of weakness first. I try to break problems down into manageable chunks and explain those parts that do not make sense in more detail, using my communication skills to explain concepts in a simple way.
HOMEWORK PROBLEMS: these are set to consolidate what is covered during the sessions and to identify gaps in the learning; so feedback from this process is crucial to ensure that progress is continually being made.
EXAM PREPARATION: more emphasis on past papers, consolidation of knowledge and exam strategy, but this depends on individual circumstances. I provide my own solutions to past papers questions as needed.

I am a qualified teacher of Mathematics with wide experience teaching from years 5 to 13. I taught for five years at an all girls` secondary school in Bath before moving to an extremely high achieving boys`school close to my new home in Northwood.
I had spent the years prior teaching in mixed gender secondary schools in Bristol and Trowbridge as well as a middle school in Dorset.
I have seven years of experience helping young people achieve their goals in mathematics in a tutor capacity.
I have created a wealth of resources in recent years with the aim of diagnosing and curing misconceptions in topic specific areas within the curriculum for key stage 3, GCSE, IGCSE, FSMQ and A-level. These have proven invaluable in preparing students for their state examinations.

I tutor GCSE and A-Level students in subjects like Maths, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I’m familiar with a range of exam boards, including the most common ones like AQA and Edexcel, so I can tailor lessons specifically to the syllabus you're working through.
My teaching style is friendly, calm, and structured. I break topics down into simple steps, use real examples to bring concepts to life, and focus on building both knowledge and confidence. A typical lesson often includes active recall, exam-style questions, and spaced repetition to help the content stick.
I’ve helped younger students before — and seeing their confidence grow is honestly one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring. Whether you're aiming for top grades or just want a bit of extra support, I’ll meet you where you’re at and help you level up.
If you're looking for someone who’s been through the exam system, knows what works, and genuinely wants you to succeed — I'm here to help!

Hello! I’m Josh, a Head of Mathematics at a successful Secondary school in Bromley and an experienced online tutor specialising in GCSE and A-level Mathematics, including Further Maths. I’ve been doing this for 8 years, and I’ve found joy in simplifying tricky math concepts.
Why online tutoring? I believe it offers flexibility and convenience. You can learn from the comfort of your space and at your pace. However, I do require students to have a graphics tablet to make our virtual lessons interactive and effective.

I value practical learning, where questions are encouraged, and challenges are tackled head-on. From algebra through statistics, my mission is to empower you not just to understand math, but to feel confident applying it.
Let’s partner up in this maths journey. Your success matters, and I’m here to support you every step of the way!
