A former full time fully qualified secondary school teacher with extensive experience teaching privately, at top London secondary schools and at university level lasting over 10 years. I have a true passion for the subject which is why I gave up research to share the true beauty of the subject with younger minds.
I rely heavily on helping children visualise problems, using computerised simulations if necessary. I will always give a child the chance to work out a problem them themselves starting with simple examples and building on them.
When the student has understood a problem I will generally focus on teaching them how to express their ideas verbally as well as numerically.

My name is Kat, I completed my BSc Biochemistry at Imperial College London and MSc at the London School of Economics. I have a wide range of hobbies which include music and art. My indulgence in my hobbies, however, did not prevent me from distinguishing myself academically. I want my students to understand and learn in an efficient albeit enjoyable way. Biology, Chemistry, Maths I enjoy teaching and have been a tutor for 7+ years. I teach Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have been working in a secondary school in UK to learn more about the Educational pattern here in UK. I have run my own tution centre back in India and have taught 25+ students on Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects for Year 10(equivalent to UK Year 11) and Year 12(equivalent to Year 13,A level). I have worked in software field in India and have a far good knowledge about the modern technical world which I could influence the students to use them in a friendly and safer way. I have done training courses on Mental Health by MHFA England and few short courses for hearing impaired students and vulnerable students through UCL. I keep my knowledge upto date by refreshing the syllabus and curriculam. Also taking some short courses whenever needed.
Hi everyone! My name is Josh and I am a third year Maths with Economics student at Loughborough University. I have had a clear and genuine passion for maths since the start of my education, and find extremely satisfying when a certain topic clicks or I complete a tough question.
I have been tutoring since I joined university in Mathematics, and can tutor up to A-Level Maths. I have had experience with tutoring up to groups of 3, and have tutored a variety of ages and abilities across the GCSE to A-Level range. Hey! I m Dan. I m a young and passionate mathematician, with a joint math degree from Imperial College London and MIT.
During high school I went to Maths Olympiads and now I am studying for a PhD. I like explaining maths, talking about maths or anything related to it. And I also like teaching. It s something that I think I can make a difference in.

I usually do sessions of 1. 5 to 2 hours. I feel this is a good duration to accumulate knowledge and not get too tired. I usually prepare exercise ahead of the session to consolidate the topic we discuss. My name is Surbhi J. and I currently work at an school in Hillingdon as a maths teacher and KS3 coordinator.
My experience in teaching helps me identify the learning gaps and I generally address them in the very beginning in order to support students in their learning journey. Students do feel confident about their mathematical skills after a couple of lessons. My lessons are students centric and I tend to clear all their misconceptions so they have deeper understanding.
