A former full time fully qualified secondary school teacher with extensive experience teaching privately, at top London secondary schools and at university level lasting over 10 years. I have a true passion for the subject which is why I gave up research to share the true beauty of the subject with younger minds. I rely heavily on helping children visualise problems, using computerised simulations if necessary. I will always give a child the chance to work out a problem them themselves starting with simple examples and building on them. When the student has understood a problem I will generally focus on teaching them how to express their ideas verbally as well as numerically.
My previous teaching experience includes Private tutor 2002-present, mostly 11+ and GCSE preparation Teaching Assistant (various courses) Warwick University 2000-2003 Small Group Supervisor 2001-2003 Warwick University (short classes with 4 students) Teaching Assistant, Imperial College, various maths, engineering and physics courses Classroom Teacher, Highgate School, North London 2007-2008 Classroom Teacher, Latymer Upper School, West London 2008-2015 GTP 2010-2011
