Spanish, Italian and French lessons in Oxford, UK.
Experienced in helping a number of age groups, with a focus on spoken French, vocabulary and developing confidence approaching spoken tasks like presentations and oral exams. I use a mainly student-lead approach.
She has worked as a tutor since 2006, both directly for clients in Lincolnshire and Oxfordshire and for The Professional Tuition Agency in North East Lincolnshire; establishing Cotswold Language Tuition in 2010. She has taught students from schools and sixth form colleges in Lincolnshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire, as well as from many of the UK's leading independent schools.
Much of Charlotte's tutoring work involves preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations in French and Italian, although she also teaches primary school children at key stage 2 and in preparation for school entrance and scholarship examinations. (KS1 and EYFS children can join our fun Tots French classes).
Lots of adult learners also choose our one-to-one tuition programme, while others prefer to join one of our friendly group classes that run each term.
Charlotte holds a valid enhanced DBS check and paediatric first aid certificate.
I am a final year student with extensive experience in tutoring throughout my time at University. I have tutored 4 students in Oxbridge admissions, with each of them receiving offers.
I have also been a student ambassador for a tutoring organisation and educational equality charity, as I believe tutoring has the ability to change students lives, through allowing them to reach their academic goals and therefore increase their opportunities.
Tutoring has always been a really enjoyable experience for me, and I can't wait to do more of it this year! As well as being extremely beneficial to the student, increasing not only their academic ability, but also their confidence, it can also be an incredibly fun and rewarding experience!

I have had huge success with all of my online students, exceeding their predictions by 2 grades and others choosing to take the language for A level following my GCSE tutoring, after previously not feeling brave enough to.

Salut! / Hola!! I`m Fabian. I`m a native and qualified teacher of French (with Spanish). I grew up in Paris and got a PGCE in Foreign Languages at the UEA in Norwich. Teaching is my passion!! I have more than 20 years experience in the field. I have worked in high schools and for business companies in France, Spain, Portugal and the UK.
I love to share my culture and knowledge of the languages I teach. I usually have a communicative approach and try to use authentic and interesting material. I truly believe that having meaningful conversations is the best way to improve one's language skills. And in the context of real conversations, , we can also improve your grammar, pronunciation and general accuracy in the language.
I can also adapt my classes to the needs of each student (business French / Spanish, conversational, preparation for interviews or examinations)
