Becoming a dynamic teacher has enabled me to differentiation my lessons by providing a more individual focus on students. This gives me greater ease in connecting with students and has created an increase in engagement during my lessons.
Education is an essential tool for preparing students to effectively live, work and trade in the global economy. I am passionate and committed about meeting the needs of students and helping them to grow as every child has the potential to succeed. I get great satisfaction in seeing students’ progress by reflecting on their journey from where they first started to where they are now.
I understand that the progress for one child will look very different to that of another, and therefore, I identify individual needs with the aim of helping them to achieve their personal targets.
I form positive relationships with all students as I understand that this is fundamental in creating a safe and welcoming environment for all leading to success.
I have 10 years experience of working in the educational sector. I am currently teaching/tutoring Business, Maths, Computing, and Economics to GCSE, KS3 & A-Level students. I have also recently completed my NPQ in leadership teaching.

As an experienced and passionate educator, I offer engaging and personalised lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. My approach is rooted in patience, clarity, and encouragement—creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and make progress at their own pace.
I use a range of teaching techniques, including visual aids, structured discussion, and clear step-by-step guidance. My lessons are interactive and goal-focused, often incorporating active recall, spaced repetition, and real-life application to deepen understanding and retention. I also ensure regular feedback and use formative assessment to adapt each session in real time.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I can be flexible depending on the age and focus of the student. I hold both a PGDipEd and a Masters in Teaching Studies with 3 years of classroom and tutoring experience, including a large focus on working with pupils with SEND and adapting material to meet a variety of needs.
My sessions are suitable for secondary school students (ages 11–18), including those preparing for exams or needing support with subject content, study skills, or confidence building. I also welcome other learners and those seeking structured academic support.
I’m a dedicated and qualified teacher with a strong track record of supporting students to succeed—both academically and personally. With several years of classroom and tutoring experience, I understand how to break down complex topics, adapt to different learning needs, and help students build the confidence they need to thrive.
I’m fully trained and experienced in working with a wide range of learners, including those with SEND, and I take pride in creating a calm, respectful, and motivating learning environment. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or simply wants to feel more confident in a subject, I approach every session with patience, structure, and a genuine passion for helping others learn.
Professional, reliable, and approachable, I am committed to delivering high-quality tuition that makes a real difference.

During my A-Levels, I tutored students from Year 7 to Year 11. I also tutor A-Level Biology. This allowed me to be aware of the latest curriculum of each subject and I understand the importance of this as this is one of the ways to achieve success.
To start with, I use a diagnostic test and then tailor my lessons to suit the students' learning styles. I believe this helps the student to grasp the knowledge quickly and understands it well. I prepare the lesson materials similar to exam-style which is crucial for students to score higher grades. I make quizzes for every lesson to start and end with that tell me about students' prior knowledge as well as what the student has learnt in the lecture so that we can build it up later in revision sessions. Giving out homework to finish in their own time, is another way I use for students to understand the topic well enough.
My aim will be to have an impact on students' lives and change the way they view learning.

I'm Victoria, I’m a high-achieving A Level student with grades 9999 (4A*s) in GCSE Maths and Triple Science, currently predicted 3A*s, with over a years experience of tutoring, I enjoy helping students build confidence and understand complex topics and love helping students learn!
I have previously worked with SEN children and those with learning difficulties, I love tutoring and empowering children in chemistry, physics and maths!
I take a personalised approach to each lesson, adapting my teaching style to suit the individual needs, learning pace, and goals of every student. I begin by identifying their strengths and areas for improvement through active listening and targeted questioning, then structure lessons to build confidence in weaker topics while reinforcing core understanding. Whether a student learns best through visual aids, practice questions, or real-world applications, I adjust my methods to ensure they stay engaged and make meaningful progress. I also regularly check understanding and provide feedback to help students track their development and stay motivated.

I am currently employed by the National Tutoring Programme as an Academic Mentor(English) in a school in Birmingham. I want to support them in English, be a positive role model for them and having a good relationship with them so that they enjoy learning and don't find it boring. I always try to make a session interesting for the students so that they can grasp the knowledge for life not just for a exam or a assessment. I believe education doest always have too be related to books, it can be also channelised through mediums of sport, music and other co curricular activities which makes the session more engaging for the students. I currently support students with SEND.

Hello!
My name is Najma and I study History at the University of Birmingham. I studied History, English Lit and Religious Studies at A-Level so I understand the stresses that come with essay-based subjects!
Throughout my life, I have been taught by some incredible tutors and I hope that I can not only help you succeed in your exams, but also grow in confidence.
I aim to make the sessions as relaxed as possible as I know how stressful school can get. My sessions will be tailored to you, ensuring that your academic needs are met. In order to find out what you want to work on, we can have a Trial session where we can get to know other as well as discussing your goals. From there, I will make a thorough lesson plan which specifically caters to you.
During the sessions, an emphasis will be placed on exam techniques which will allow you to answer questions effectively. I will also offer useful revision tips and help you make resources (to spare you the chaos that is last-minute flashcard-making!)
