I have a BSc and PhD in Chemistry, and have taught Science in schools for nearly 20 years, specialising in Chemistry up to A-level. I have taught in secondary schools, and in adult learning environments over this period, in the UK and abroad. Whilst working in a private laboratory, I delivered and assessed Science A-level Practical Endorsement courses, catering for home-schooled students and adult learners who do not have access to school laboratories. I subsequently construct an individual syllabus-specific course of study, aimed at achieving above and beyond the target grade. I provide regular feedback to parents/carers to ensure complete transparency and offer extra hours of tutoring if needed to cover the syllabus or exam preparation.
