Science Clinic Private Tutors was founded in 2010. Our vision was to help struggling children understand the concepts of the major subjects which are sought after by many colleges & universities. Our tutoring was mainly in the main subjects (Maths, all 3 Sciences & English Language) to exam students only. Because of the huge demand of tutoring in all year groups, we now teach students across the board from Primary (KS1 & KS2) through to GCSE, A-level and University. We were luck to have had colleagues we share the same vision with join us. Now we can teach all subjects from Primary through to GCSE, College /A-levels and Science & Maths at University level. All our teachers / tutors are graduates and qualified teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who understand the National Curriculum. Some of them are examiners at GCSE and A-level, which means they know the exam techniques students need to answer the exam questions properly and get better grades. Within the team, we have professionals with very high qualifications ie Masters Degrees (MSc / MA) and PhDs in various subjects. We can, therefore, be confident to say we are professionals who are dedicated to what we do with proven records in the UK’s most entrance and national exams. We are a tutoring organisation that is defined by its professionalism. Our aim is to provide a personal service. This makes us very different from most tutoring companies that just offer a platform for tutors and students to meet. We speak to clients so that we can match them with the most appropriate tutor for their needs. When this happens, the results can be remarkable & confidence grows. We personally know all our tutors and all have had DBS checks and their qualifications checked before we take them on. We are also a member of The Tutors’ Association (TTA) which was formed in 2013 to provide standards to the tutoring industry.

We have a dedicated covid secure classroom. We have an extremely comprehensive equipment store to cover all the experiments for GCSE and A level Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). This enables the students to take part in experiments which enhances their learning.
Since the lockdown, our response was to transition, virtually overnight, our teaching online. The tutor’s hands became the student’s hands and the cameras their eyes, the microphone and speakers became their voice and ears. With the power of a broadcast switcher, the student did not have one view but many, depending on what was needed. In addition, we decided to live stream tutorials on YouTube going through GCSE and A level Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, topic by topic, week by week utilising all our equipment for experiments. This was to develop a resource for all not just our own students.
I am 45 years old with 21 years experience of Science and Maths teaching aged 8-16 and an experienced tutor of Maths and English am able to offer individual private tuition in Maths, English (including reading), Science and 11+ entrance exams.

I have registered to become a tutor because of my passion for the Sciences and Maths. I want to inspire and motivate other students studying these difficult subjects.
I'm a second year student at Imperial College London, reading Medical Biosciences. I took my A-levels last year and obtained AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I also did an EPQ where my reserach topic was centered around Alzheimer's and Dementia and obtained an A. At GCSE, I obtained 2 8s (Maths and English Literature), 5A*s (Biology, Chemisty, Latin, Geography and RS), a 7 (English Language) and 3As (Further Maths, Physics and German).
During my Sixth Form years I acted as a mentor to GCSE Maths students - most got As after taking the exam. Having gone through these exams recently, I understand the keys to sucessful revsion and how to get the grades you want. It's a process I followed for both GCSE and A-level. I studied MBBS from Islam medical college. Worked as a doctor for 2 years in Pakistan. Now I am in England preparing for my exams and want to teach kids some basic science as I used to teach my fellow students in my university. It's my passion.
I am a Bioanalytical Scientist with a Bachelor's degree in Human and Medical science and therefore have a very good understanding of Biology and Chemistry. Furthermore I have 6 months experience as a substitute teacher and a year's experience as a TEFL teacher. I have always enjoyed Sciences, English and Urdu language and feel they have always been my greatest academic skills. Due to my passion for the subjects and great understanding, I have been able to make them simpler and easier to understand for all my fellow peers ans siblings in the past. Hi, I’m Saman! I have currently finished my fourth year of medical school at Barts and am now studying for my masters at Kings.
I am friendly and approachable, motivated in aiding students to reach their full potential and succeed. Having achieved all A*s at GCSE and A*-A grades in my A-levels from the Henrietta Barnett school, I have a good understanding of the specific exam techniques required to achieve the best grades!
My aim as a tutor is to help students have a good understanding of the topics, by identifying the areas they need more support with. I am Antara, a second-year medical student at St. George’s University of London. Having sat my A level and GCSE exams only recently, I am aware of the anxiety and stress faced by students trying to understand difficult topics in time for the exams. I have always been very passionate about teaching and am interested in helping to reduce some of that tension. While living in India, I conducted many tutoring workshops for underprivileged children where I taught students English and basic computer skills. The bond I created with these children are everlasting. Even in my schooling years, many classmates and even juniors would come to me to ask for help with any concepts that they struggled with. They would always very kindly describe me as a patient and passionate teacher who was always very enthusiastic to teach! They also loved the funny mnemonics and word plays that I created to help remember key concepts! I am now aiming my lessons for Year 11 students giving their GCSEs this year. I will be using a distinctive three step approach to deliver my lessons for maximum memory retention, which has been life changing in helping me get through all my exams, both in school and now in university!
