Online Aerospace Engineering Lessons
I am an award-winning and highly experienced "super" tutor and academic coach with over 15 years of tutoring, teaching and coaching experience, during which period I have made multiple students become university toppers and world prize winners. As for my own qualifications, I have a First Class Honours degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Doctorate in Engineering (Expertise: High-fidelity numerical simulations). As an undergraduate student at university, I was ranked number 1 with a cumulative average of 84%, for which I was honoured as the `Top Engineering Graduate`. I passed my A-levels (examining board: Edexcel) with straight A grades (note: there were no A* grades at the time), and my Mathematics mark in particular was ranked among the top in the world. To date, I`ve also authored multiple high-impact scientific journal publications.
I started tutoring undergraduates and postgraduates at the age of 19, and A-level students as early as 17. Until recently, I was also employed as a Senior Teaching Associate in Mechatronics Engineering at a leading UK University, where I was widely regarded as the highest-rated Academic. Occasionally, I offer lectures at various other institutions on a variety of subject areas including, but not limited to, Engineering Mathematics, Thermofluids (Thermodynamics and Fluid Dynamics), Heat Transfer, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics, Solid Body Mechanics (Statics and Rigid Body Dynamics), Mechanical Vibrations, Structural Analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics, Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Programmable Systems, Control Systems (Laplace Transform and Z-transform), Power Systems and Analogue Electronics. Currently, I have many students at various UK institutions and institutions overseas, ranging from Cambridge University and Imperial College (London) to IE School of Architecture (Madrid). These students have been very happy to work with me because they are being prepared to reach their highest potential, and this is somewhat evident from the fact that they typically acquire the highest marks in their class / cohort. Of the hundreds of students that I have tutored / coached over the past 15 years, almost all acquired the best possible grade and none has ever got a grade lower than a B, despite the spread in the aptitudes and circumstances of incoming students. I believe this is a phenomenal tutoring record and I have been working hard to keep my standard of tutoring at its highest level.

During last more than 10 years I have first hand teaching experience in the University in the UK and Canada. I have PhD in Aerospace engineering and had worked before at Pratt and Whitney Canada which is an aircraft engine manufacturer. Also, I have strong experience on online tutoring on engineering subjects, physics and maths. I can confidently explain mathematical and scientific principles and concepts using diagram and formula on digital white boards. I was also qualified by the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching (PGCE). And, I am a Chartered Engineer (CEng) as a member of Institution of Mechanical Engineer (IMechE) in the UK. I have been teaching Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Dynamics, Heat Transfer in undergraduate degree program as well as Physics, Maths and Enigineering Science in Foundation program. I believe I have a strong educational background. I received 75% first class for biomedical sciences in UCL. I have received 8A*, 3As and B for my GCSE and I got an A for physics and I graduated with A*A*A* for Maths, Chemistry and biology for A level. Throughout my secondary school, I have been nominated several times as the top in the year for several subjects like Maths, Chemistry and Physics. I have also contributed to Maths and Biology Olympiad achieving silver for both. I have also written model answers for PMT Education last month thus GCSE – A level contents for Maths and Sciences for various UK examboards thus I am very knowledgeable with different examboard styles and contents.
I have good organisation skills: I always plan and prepare resources to provide the best learning experience for the students. I try to be friendly, patient and become an active listener. Also, I am usually very interactive with students to build their problem-solving skills. I can personalise the teaching style to fit each student’s different learning style and pace of learning. I have tutored students (age 6-18) for 5 years for mainly maths, sciences and piano but I have tutored English before up to GCSE level. I have also helped A level students with their university admission for medicine/science courses + Oxbridge. I did remote teaching during the Covid pandemic thus I am comfortable and knowledgeable at using online platforms and I usually tutor with an iPad as well. I like taking new challenges. I always enjoyed taking new roles during study (such as Course Rep and student quality reviewer) and learning new skills (such as how to use photoshop, procreate and solidworks). I specialise in working with students on a 1-on-1 basis, easing and tackling individual areas of difficulty at their appropriate pace – something that can be difficult to receive in the standard school environment. My teaching approach is adaptive upon students’ own learning attitude, thus, presenting resources in various ways. It is focused on fostering a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of a topic, before applying that knowledge to solving questionnaires. I also specially aid with exam preparation to share my own unique methods of working and exam techniques/tips. Ultimately, I aim to develop one’s self-esteem and perseverance to fulfil their own aspirations.
I have taught a wide age group from 5 to 24, which my past tutor sessions were based on creativity of my hobbies such as art, which always worked absolutely well since when I was a GCSE student.
I have many experiences working with children, especially with spending my work experience as an assistant in a primary school class, I was able to interact and deal with various situations to keep the children calm, focused and motivated. As a school tutor, I utilised my organisational skills to collect resources and investigated various methods of teaching to find the most efficient way to deliver difficult contents, suiting the students’ own learning attitude appropriately.
