I have experience working with children to aid their progress in class by helping with homework and reteaching them aspects they don't understand. This has required me to refamiliarise myself with the content and processes that they need to know to complete their homework. Therefore I can understand, through talking to the child where they may be confused and being able to work out how to teach them in the way that is best suited to them. This, of course, cannot be achieved in a classroom of 30 students. I will be able to help with Biology and Chemistry up to a GCSE level as well as several years below that in order to help them build a strong foundation of understanding moving forward into higher education.
