Additional information and experience - Theo C.

My name is Theo, I am a first year medical school student, studying at Bristol university. As well as enjoying my studies I am a keen footballer, skier, snowboarder and runner.

As a young tutor, with wide ranging interests, I am extremely approachable and able to relate to the students easily. Being able to connect to students encourages learning and improves understanding and through this it makes it much easier for the student.

I have previous experience teaching classes of 30 science students as well as over 100 hours of 1-1 tutoring across the sciences and maths.

I have achieved 3A* (maths biology physics) A (chemistry) at A-level. I also have 12 GCSE’s 9xA* 2xA C(French)

I originally started tutoring alongside my A-levels through a young carers volunteering program. As part of this programme I taught primary school children who care for their parents. This was extremely rewarding in that I was able to give back to the community. The next natural step was to start payed tutoring. I have tutored 4 students to develop better knowledge and understanding of GCSE and A level with science and maths help.

My style is different with each student, as it should be. Not only teaching them the subject content and how to apply to different questions but teaching them how to learn in an efficient and easy manor. This combination means that they are ready for anything that the exam board or school may throw at them.
