I am a fully qualified (DBS checked) English teacher (I semi retired in September 2019). I've taught English at secondary level for over 35 years. I am fully up to date with exam assessment critieria and, having worked as an AQA exam marker, I know exactly what the exam board looks for. Over the past few years I've also worked as a private tutor with students from Years 5 to 9, successfully helping them to consolidate any aspects of English needed (including Verbal Reasoning for the 11+ exam). I have also had success as a tutor with a number of students at GCSE (AQA exam board English Language and English Literature) and A Level (AQA English Literature). I tailor tuition to the individual student's needs and by working with them one to one I am able to help them realise their potential. Covering Parkstone to Dorchester (or further afield online!).
