As an international PhD student at University of Glasgow coming from Egypt, I worked in different positions while I was an undergraduate and also as a postgraduate student. Firstly, I started to work as a shop assistant and a cleaner in 2011. Then, I worked as a pharmacist assistant from 2014 to 2016. After graduation and getting my www.*** in Environmental Sciences and Chemistry in 2016 I was appointed as a demonstrator at the Department of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science, Alexandria University, Egypt from September, 2017 till June, 2020. Subsequently, I had my master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, specifically, in the field of green synthesis of gold nanoparticles in 2020 and then I started to work as an assistant lecturer at the same department. Consequently, I applied for a PhD scholarship which is financially supported by the Egyptian government, got their acceptance, moved to Glasgow in February 2022, and started my PhD at University of Glasgow along with my achievement in having many international publications in highly ranked scientific journals. At the mean time I am working as a reviewer at three highly ranked international journals; Chemical Papers, scientific reports, and Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery. Additionally, I am a member of several international organizations that seek biodiversity protection, effective solutions for climate change, and also the effective engagement of the youth in protecting the environment. I worked quite hard to develop my English, communication, buying and selling, learning, and teaching skills in order to be able start and continue to work in all of the above mentioned jobs. I gained a lot of experiences in many positions, dealing with people who have quite different education levels ranging from the illiterate to the most educated academics and professors.
