I am and have been teaching GCSE Chemistry for 13 years across a range of abilities. I have also had experience in marking for AQA. Through use of specifications and an accurate knowledge of common misconceptions, I have enabled students across a wide range of abilities to promote rapid and sustained progress, achieving excellent exam results.
I am currently working in a top private school and am head of year 10. I was previously a member of the senior leadership team at an Academy school. Career progression is indicative of competence alongise the establishment of positive relationships with students to create an atmosphere which is supportive and conducive to learning. I have developed excellent skills in remote learning and deliver my lessons on Teams/Zoom. However, I can be adaptable to other platforms if required. I can also arrange small group sessions (up to 5 students), if your child would like to learn alongside their peers. 5 students: £50, 4 students: £45, 3 students: £40, 2 students: £35. When teaching, I ascertain current levels of knowledge/understanding and provide bespoke activities for further progression. After 13 years of experience, I have designed countless resources to meet the needs of all learners and continue to do so through tutoring. I have an in-depth and working knowledge of the AQA GCSE Chemistry specification and proven track record in adding value to attainment.
