Extremely experienced tutor, happy and fun learning style! I have over Twenty years of experience teaching in one of the top schools in the country and have been teaching online classes for over three years. I am also a practicing artist and have shown my work globally. I love to teach art in an explorative, fun way and I will target lessons to get the very best work from you whatever your ability. I have knowledge of many exam boards as I was always trying to find the best one for my pupils when I was head of art! I have a wide range of art skills, my degree was in fine art ceramics, however I paint, draw and the artwork I exhibit is sculpture. I spent six years living in California where I experienced devastating wildfires - these have inspired my own artwork. All the work I make is of an environmental nature, I love giving unwanted materials new life. Although I am a qualified Secondary school teacher, I have also taught online primary level and adults! I sometimes visit schools to show them my work and story and we do big group projects. The important thing is we have fun whilst we learn - you need to love what you are doing! Please feel free to reach out and ask any questions. |
