I am a highly qualified and experienced teacher of German, currently teaching GCSE German privately, having recently taught both A level and GCSE at a girls' grammar school, and an independent school, achieving a high exam success rate (100% A-A* at the grammar school, and 100% Grades 7-9 in my last year at the independent school in 2020).
I consider myself to be amiable, patient and empathetic, and my teaching approach is based on a systematic building of grammar and vocabulary which has proved to be popular and welcomed by the majority of my students.
In recent years I have also led English courses at a number of companies in the Midlands, including The White Company and White Stuff, teaching larger groups of predominantly East European employees. The pandemic has brought about a transition to online teaching which has proved most successful. I have, however, recently re-started teaching face-to-face at a German client company which is a most welcome development. |
