I aspire to develop an interest in biology among students and help the student reach his or her full potential in preparation for the examinations. I am a Sri Lankan national currently living in Grimsby. I am a lecturer and researcher in microbiology and I have published several manuscripts in indexed journals on infectious diseases.
I have over 15 years of teaching experience of undergraduate students. I have experience teaching microbiology, molecular biology and immunology. I can teach OCR Biology A for AS and AL students. Microbiology and Immunology to undergraduate students. I will be conducting online one to one sessions with the student and will be tailoring the teaching to the individual student during my lesson. This will enable me to develop a friendly rapport with the student and cater to the students individual study requirements. I will be explaining the concepts using slides, videos or diagrams and ensure that the student grasps these concepts. Study material can be provided to the student and importantly I will help in preparing for the exam by discussing past questions which will help to boost the confidence to face the examinations successfully. |
