I achieved my BSc in Chemistry from Swansea University in July 2020, achieving a 2-1. I started my PhD the same month with a focus on the development of novel, small molecule broad spectrum antivirals using a combination of computational and synthetic techniques. I have recently completed my experiments for my PhD and am now finishing off writing my thesis. During my time completing my PhD I have worked as a teaching assistant in undergraduate teaching labs that have allowed me to develop strong teaching abilities in what can be a high-stress environment. I have also had the oppotunity to help guide both undergraduate and Master's students through their personal research projects, meaning I am both used to and very comfortable working on a 1-to-1 basis. |
