My name is Melissa, and I’m passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals.
Background: I have a background in tutoring Maths and English with 4 years of experience in tutoring and education. I hold a degree in Childhood Studies from University of West of Scotland, and I am currently studying my PGDE Primary Education which has equipped me with a solid foundation in the curriculum and teaching skills.
Tutoring Approach: I believe in a personalized approach to tutoring, adapting my teaching style to meet each student’s unique needs. I focus on building understanding and confidence through interactive lessons, practice problems, real-world applications.

A passionate teacher who will communicate his subject in a clear and concise manner, who will also, motivate his students. My main aim of my lessons is that the lessons are always broken down into a fundamental level, so that the students can find the subjects, to which i teach easy to understand and follow, which gives the students the opportunity to ask questions. I spent 10 yeasr working globally as an English Language (ESL) & Literature (IGCSE), and IELTS. I have taught both online and in-person with class sizes form 1 to 45 students. Age range of students have been from Kindergarten to 70 years old, in Public & Private Schools, Universities, and Corporations. Locations have included South Korea, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the UAE and the UK.
I have also worked in senior roles including Head of Middle School and Assoicate Director of Studies. I am currently based in the UK.
Hello. I am an enthusiastic, helpful, and approachable secondary school teacher who already has a wealth of experience teaching various subjects at different levels. My aim is to ensure that all pupils I teach are supported in order for them to reach and achieve their full potential. I currently teach Advanced Higher, Higher, and National 5 level at Modern Studies. I also currently teach National 5 History, but have had experience teaching Higher History previously. I will also be teaching Higher Politics from this year. I have also taught NPA in Criminology. I like to ensure that my lessons and the materials that I create are structured and explained in a way that is engaging, useful, and hopefully easy to understand for all of my learners. I have previous tutoring experience of National 5 level and this resulted in the pupil going on to achieve an A in the final exam.
