I offer individual tutoring online and in my home to those who are sitting GCSE and A Levels in English Literature and Language. I am also very keen to help slightly younger pupils who need help with general English skills like: reading, comprehension, grammar and punctuation, and general writing skills. I am also very keen to help adults who need help with written and spoken communication skills
I have won three awards for excellence and a superb tutor. I always take a student-centered approach to teaching by asking students to bring their notes and talk me through the topics they feel are most difficult. My aim as your tutor would be to identify your strengths and weaknesses and build upon these appropriately. I would incorporate past paper questions very early in the curriculum to assess how well a child can apply their knowledge to answering exam questions. Pricing
Your first lesson will be free of charge, assuming it is online or in Windsor. Thereafter £32/hour (discount for KS3 or lower). If I have to drive within 5 miles of Windsor, then it's £35/hour. Beyond that, while I'd like to help you, honestly it isn't worth it for me or you. In that case am sure you will find another good tutor closer.
