A well-motivated, versatile, and quick learning individual after graduation took on a challenge to live in India over the last 10 years. The opportunity allowed her to contribute her background and exposure of the UK education towards India's education system to create a new foundation for the current and new generations. There was also a great opportunity to teach students there, how to speak English as they were only fluent in Gujarati and Hindi. A little about me in the school setting
My roles have allowed me to build on a range of areas that I have been interested in for some time. My focus on ‘pedagogy’ has been developed towards ‘praxis’ – the idea that one reflects and acts uponp ractice to transform it. What I have learnt is that a narrow focus on the classroom isn’t enough. This, in practical terms could be parenting support in the form of coaching and peer support; providing evening classes in basic skills, parental revision classes to help them best assist their child. It could be using the school buildings as a base of local CPD provision, for meetings, for collaboration among local departments.

I am a graduate who has finished studying Maths with Statistics at Royal Holloway University and I have good maths and science teaching skills. I know what techniques are needed for students to thrive and to have a good learning environment. Along with that, I know what techniques are needed to answer exam questions, so that they can do really well, and for them to find their true potential, but most importantly, for students to have a positive and enthusiastic approach to learning. In terms of teaching, I can teach maths, biology and chemistry at KS3, GCSE and A levels. I teach physics at GCSE and at KS3 level. I have 4 years experience as a private tutor and I teach students in the best possible standards as possible as I am very patient and I understand students difficulties and needs and therefore allow them to succeed. In the past nine years, I've had the privilege of performing, recording, and writing with some of the best musicians in the London and U.K. scene, such as Kevin Glasgow (one of Europe's best bassists), Robin Banerjee (Amy Winehouse's guitarist), Roberto Manzin (Zucchero), Felipe Martíns (Emeterians), Juan Whist (The Voice National Spanish TV), and many others. In both academies I taught GCSE Mathematics A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics and STEP. About half of my students have been recommended to me. I have been a private tutor since September 1987. I do not cover D1 or D2 or Modelling With Algorithms at A level. I have a first class honours degree from Goldsmith College London where I won the Stanley Hails Memorial Prize.
