Welcome!
My name is Jayne and I have been teaching for over 30 years, mostly in higher education, but also at FE and secondary levels -I therefore have covered most if not all problems that students might face and helped them find their way out of the maze of the wonderful subject that is English - he's, help is at hand!
An initial assessment lesson will allow me to discuss your needs and concerns and formulate a plan that is best for you. I will be able to give you an idea of the number of sessions it should require to reach your desired goal . This could be anything from a single session for those just needing assistance with a one off project/essay to a course of tutorials for exams. I recommend no more than 1/2 sessions per week as many of you will have other study commitments and it's important not to stretch yourself. However- I will always give you a task or prep to do before the next session which will extend or complement your knowledge.
I encourage questions -so I am very happy for you to ask if something isn't clear or isn't working for you.
My preferred teaching method is online , including teaching files/marking. This is predominantly because I live in the back of beyond! Plus, most of my students like the convenience of attending from home .

I aspire to develop an interest in biology among students and help the student reach his or her full potential in preparation for the examinations. I am a Sri Lankan national currently living in Grimsby. I am a lecturer and researcher in microbiology and I have published several manuscripts in indexed journals on infectious diseases.
I have over 15 years of teaching experience of undergraduate students. I have experience teaching microbiology, molecular biology and immunology. I can teach OCR Biology A for AS and AL students. Microbiology and Immunology to undergraduate students.
I will be conducting online one to one sessions with the student and will be tailoring the teaching to the individual student during my lesson. This will enable me to develop a friendly rapport with the student and cater to the students individual study requirements. I will be explaining the concepts using slides, videos or diagrams and ensure that the student grasps these concepts. Study material can be provided to the student and importantly I will help in preparing for the exam by discussing past questions which will help to boost the confidence to face the examinations successfully.
I am Ukrainian. I speak English at a basic level. I worked as a Math tutor for 9 years. I use a graphic tablet with stylus and an online whiteboard in my work. I can help you with your homework.
A busy Mum of two, used to be a middle manager in Manchester school but moved to Lincolnshire 10yrs ago with my husband and new baby daugher, another daughter came along soon after. Now our girls are getting older I have a little time to spare to help students improve their general science, GCSE science in any science disipine.
