I have taught boys and girls in secondary schools (boarding and day, single-sex and co-ed), and have tutored pupils from Y5 upwards. In a school environment I have taught the top year (Y6) in a primary school, and all tiers of secondary school (including GCSEs, A-Levels, and the International Baccalaureate). I have also tutored pupils preparing for Common Entrance exams and scholarship exams.
I think tuition sessions benefit from incorporating as much variety as possible, including vocabulary-picture association in memory games, translation work, grammar exercises, and (if required) the solid staple of vocabulary tests. I can provide tuition across the full spectrum of age and ability, from those facing particular challenges with their learning to assisting gifted students seeking to extend their studies. I always provide an updated 'Scheme of Work' to both pupil and parents after each session, so that everyone is clear what the targets are and what has been achieved.
Please note that lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full rate. Lessons cancelled between 24-48 hours beforehand will be charged at 50% of the full rate.

Hi! My name is Huda H. and I am from Crawley, West Sussex. I graduated from the University of Northumbria. I did a bachelors degree on Bio Medical Science. I am currently a Maths and Science Tutor. I have experience in tutoring female students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Science for three years. I started tutoring primary students during my GCSE'S. After sucessfully completing my degree, with a second class honours, I wanted to make teaching as my profession. I have been able to help students who were facing a lot of difficulties in understanding the subject by breaking it down step by step making the topic more interesting and easier for the students. I have been able to help my students get through their exams and achieve the best results. I am currently working part time as a Maths Teacher for year 11 students at Oxbridge Online School. I conduct my lessons online via zoom/google meets and I do in person tuition at my home. I provide presentation slides for my students for each subject i teach so that they can refer the slides in the future. I make sure I go step by step when teaching my students. The exam boards I am currently aware of are Cambridge, Edexcel, AQA and OCR.

Good afternoon to all,
My name is Rhian S., an A level student currently studying the subjects Maths, chemistry and biology, working towards a bright future in dentistry in Kings University Of London. I specialize in GCSE science, in which I achieved a 99, where I believe all students can achieve but must be taught the correct technique and application skills. Being one who finished there GCSEs not so long ago, I believe I have the essential tips and tricks that can help your child to excel catering to the new exam bores and requirements.
I believe I have structured lessons in a way which concisely hits exam requirements whilst also sharing exam technique tricks along the way that I have personally developed from my experience.
One thing I have learnt from mentoring students is the importance of communication whenever the student may need, even outside working hours, this is why I will have 24hour contact with my students to assist in any further questions outside tutoring hours. This may include homework help, questions by topic or feedback in general.
now the most important thing to success is routine. Each lesson will be strutted the same with 3 main protocols- learn, practice, apply. Where application will be specificity modified to fit various scenarios so your child to can put this to work independently during there exams!
My classes will be every Saturday morning from 10-11am or 10-12am including 24hour assistance

I am a Modern Foreign Languages Graduate with several years of experience teaching both French and Spanish to A level (AQA and EDEXCEL). I am used to working with a wide range of students from lower to higher ability and have an open and direct approach to teaching and learning.
After working as an Au-Pair in France and spending a year teaching in Spain I went onto work in business as a Spanish Market Analyst. Throughout my career in Publishing, I frequently used French and Spanish whilst presenting or in international business negotiations. I speak French and Spanish fluently and Spanish on a daily basis and believe that languages are essential in today's working environment - not just as a communication tool but to better understand different cultures and societies.
At present, I teach in a Grammar School across all key stages.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

If you want results, you choose me. I tutor Mathematics up to GCSE level, with a track record for improving grades and Mathematical skills rapidly.
Having successfully tutored my younger siblings, I discovered a deep passion for not only mastering mathematics but also for sharing my knowledge with others. This experience revealed my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way, sparking a sense of achievement in my students and strengthening my own understanding. My passion for mathematics extends beyond teaching, as I have also applied mathematical models in real-world financial institutions, inspiring how it can be applied in a practical environment.

A native French speaker who is a language lover, I have studied about 7 languages in my life, hence the homework help I can give in Spanish, Italian and German. I've learnt modern Greek, Latin and Albanian too. Now learning Japanese. I have experience with diplomats and corporate people from the City and with children and adults with special needs, Asperger's and learning difficulties. I did my teacher training in 2001-2002 after 2.5 years of being a French assistant in London schools. I starting private tuition in 1999.
I am an empathic and patient tutor who uses intuition in my teaching. I don't have the same method for everyone as my students are all different.
I also offer coaching for clients who needs life advice, especially life changes and challenges.
